I am a young girl in her teens, my hair is poofy and dry-please tell me NATURAL and ACCURATE ways to help it. Please do not tell me fake creams that will help, like John Frida etc., thanks.

okay I will add more, some days its "okay" but when I in the sixth grade, I had hair girls envied for (straight brown silky hair). Now it's the opposite! It' spoofy, and at the lower part of the hair-its dry and a bit frizz. I use to have a frizz porblem-but its going away. But my hair has been like this for four or three years. I can only straighten it but it is not natural and it burns my hair
(its kinda burnt anyway on some part). I really hate my hair. it should die.

While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4 .

First, you need to get a good cut by a stylist that knows your type of hair and the only way is to make appt. for a consultation. Do that until you find a stylist you like.

Second, you need some deep heating treatments that you can only get at a salon. Ask the stylist what they use as a treatment. I use a special formula made from top of the line products. Some use crappy stuff and it will do nothing but coat your hair...yuck!

Third, buy some professional products for your hair...shampoo,conditioner,etc

Fourth, If you do what I say and you are able to find a good stylist, you will have much better hair in a short period of time. Professionals know what products and what to do with hair types and you cannot even begin to get the products we can. Even though a lot are sold over the counter, we can get the good stuff that you are not aware of.

Fifth, If you cannot afford to go to go to a stylist as often as I suggest, at least go in and get the deep heating treatments and use professional products on your hair. It will make such a big difference.

You need to start w/ a good trim. You should have your hair trimmed every 6-10 weeks even if it is only 1/4". You need to keep your hair free of dry ends, dry ends cause split ends.

Also, your hair will do better not using chemicals such as perms, colors or bleach. The less stress you cause your hair the healthier it'll be.

Try letting your hair air dry over using a blowdryer. Also try not to use a curling iron or straightener too much. The hheat can cause dry ends.

Use a good moisturizing shampoo & conditioner. Also, a good leave-in-conditioner.

Good Luck,
Stylist of 9 yrs.

It sounds weird, gross, and it smells funny while you do it but cover your hair in MAYONAISE! Let is stay on for at least half an hour (go watch tv) then shampoo it out with warm water and a moisturising shampoo. It really does help and makes it extra shiny. treat it like this about 1ce a month or as you need to. A trim wouldn't hurt either.
You prolly won't need a conditioner this time. AIR DRY! Don't rub with the towel and it should get better, I hope.

If the natural tendency of your hair is to curl and be frizzy, then that can't be helped without products. Taking a multivitamin is generally good for your hair and skin though. If you don't want to use products every day then just use a leave in conditioner after shampooing. That's easy :-)

first off john frida does help for that kind of step. but if you want the best of the best buy Redken but in less your a hairstyles you cant buy it inless you buy it from a salon.

But a way to do it tonight would be to help it not be so dry keep conditioner your hair tonight when you go to be and wash it out in the Morin sleep with a cap and hit it with your blow dryer before you go to bed to heat it up
