ICE is an acronym for In Case Of Emergency. If you are found unconscious and you have a cell phone, emergency personnel are trained to look for ways of contacting members of your family. One thing they look for is the ICE prefacing entry's in your cell's phone book. This came from the bombings in London a few years back. What you do is you prefix a few of your entry's like 'ICE Mom 555-0807' and 'ICE Bill 555-8845'. The police or paramedics would then know that these are the numbers you wanted called if there is a problem.
