Mexicans can't come legally( they are constantly denied visas and can't apply for the Green Card lottery), so they pay $3,000 a smuggler to cross the border. Why does US govmt support smugglers? Imagine if those money went to US budget : people would be legal, pay taxes and contribute, so you wouldn't have a reason to complain.
If people could come legally they'd pay a lot more!

foxnews, it is impossible to "fix a visa issue". If it was there would no illegals. Your laws don't allow people to renew most visa types. Get your facts staright before opening your mouth.

to Sam: When was the last time you talked to a Mexican? Never? 3,000 is exactly the current price of getting into the US. 3 years ago it was $2,500, 10 years ago-only $800. I talk to Mexicans every day and I know what these people have been through to come here. You Americans hardly see beyond your noses and have no clue what's going on around you.

Inge, we could all marry for papers. That's the only way to get legal as you did. It's also a serious crime, unless you love the guy. What happens when you don't like American men? You stay illegal. Face the facts, please. If you hadn't married you'd NEVER be legal!

JD, I'm European and a typical one. I didn't have to spend 3,000 to be smuggled, but all the MExicans I know did. ANd why? Because your govmt supports SMUGGLERS. Do the US people have interest of having people pay the govmt, or the smugglers? THAT is the real question you all try to avoid with your off-topic answers.

...and i would venture to say that most of them dont even have that much money and its some kind of a pay-me-back deal .. or reletives already in the US have sent them the money ... those people dont have money thats why they come here ... $3000 is like 5 years salary ... and income tax is illegal in the first place .. concentrate on changing the illegal federal reserve system and irs if you want to make a change .... the way i see it the illegals are contributing to many buisnesses including construction and farming keeping our prices down.

If Bunt had her way, we would open all of our borders and call ourselves "Mexico 2" here in the United States. Why stop with Mexico? Why not invite all 7 billion people on this planet to come here too? Think it would still be a great country then, huh? Where do we draw the line? Furthermore, we do NOT support smugglers. We don't want the aliens here, period. They need to stay in their own countries. There's a reason we limited how many can come here. That reason is because our resources here have been stretched to their limits. Healthcare, education, criminal, all the systems are deteriorating. However, every illegal alien in the U.S. seems to think that THEY are not part of the problem.
P.S. I think one possible solution is stop issuing visas to come here! A large majority of those here on visas don't go back home when their time is up here.
P.S.S. Let your representatives know that you support legislation to prevent employers from hiring illegal aliens. Support stricter consequences for lack of compliance! If the jobs are not here, they will not try to sneak over in such large numbers.

Illegal Immigrants piss me off!
I am a legal immigrant, went through hell and back to get my visa, even though I was married to an American citizen for over 10 years and gave birth to 2 American citizens by the time I even planned on entering the US to become a resident.
And believe me, it cost me a lot more than $3k to get all of my paperwork together and processed.
And what makes matters worse: Mexicans come here illegally, break the laws, cause commotions, *****, moan, complain....well, if it is so bad here, that they have to complain non-stop, why don't they just go back?
I don't agree with all the laws in this country, far from it in some cases. However, I am a guest here and therefore have to behave like one, which includes but is not limited to respecting and obeying the laws in this country.
If more "aliens" would behave like that, the US would have a lot less recentments against immigrants and would welcome a lot more. The illigal immigrants (mainly from Mexico) are the ones screwing it all up for the honest people.
Let's face it: all Americans, except for the native Americans, were immigrants at one point......

LOLOLOLOL!!!
I get such a charge out of knowing how miserable and angry and scared you are, Bunt! Keep on ranting and raving and spewing your filth and hate of America and Americans, because it is really all based on jealousy because you really envy us but you are NEVER going to know what it is like to be an American or even a LEGAL immigrant in this great land of ours! If you came over from Europe on a visa, in the first place, you obviously had the money with which you could have applied to come over legally. But, you made the idiotic decision to NOT do this the right way. Unless, the REAL reason you chose to NOT immigrate legally was because there is something in your history that would preclude you from meeting the qualifications of a legal immigrant, such as a criminal record in your country, some chronic and/or contagious disease, or perhaps you do not really possess the skills and education that you say you have, etc. Because if you don't have a criminal record and don't have a chronic/contagious disease, and really do have all the education and skills you proclaim to have, then there would have been NO problem with your immigration application. Hmmmm, so which is it, Bunt? Now, you are basically landlocked and unable to travel freely outside of the USA because you know that if you did, you would NOT be able to return again to the USA. You are stuck on the continent, unable to even go back to visit your friends (although you probably don't have any friends, in the first place) and family (if any of them were even still talking to you before you left). HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And, now you are miserable because you are sitting there, holding out hope for the hinted at amnesty! Give it up! Not gonna happen! Even if it did, you would likely be too afraid to step up for it because you would be afraid that you would not be able to qualify for it and be deported after all, so no matter what way you look at it, you are stuck in the prison of illegal hell with no way out! I bet you don't sleep very well at night, worrying about when INS will find you and whether someone will report you. Sorry 'bout your luck! LMFAO!!!!

If your argument is true, then the Government should going into Cocaine business as well.
Imagine if those money went to US budget: drugs would be legal, generate taxes and contribute........
This won't make our country better. I don't think illegals will make us better either.
If we need more workers in this country, we should issue more visas. We have to control who can coming in to the country; every countries have right to control. This is issue that US citizens must resolved. It's not a issue for others. You cannot break our law because you don't agree with it.

Considering that you obviously know NOTHING of our immigration laws, I suggest you do some research before you ask a stupid question like this one. SECOND, millions of people move to and visit the United States every year, so it's probably not as hard as you like to make it sound. Once they've illegally snuck into the United States, why is it that they make no attpemt to learn our language? That has nothing to do with money.....or how about they try to emrabce our culture? There are many problems the illegal Hispanics are causing.....money is only one of them. Get your facts straight honey.

67% of illegals are visa overstays, but I bet YOU knew that. So obviously, they were able to get them. Furthermore, there is a diversity requirement in the U.S lottery system that actually FAVORS Mexico and disfavors many European countries. My husbands family is legal and of Mexican heritage and it is offensive to say that just because you are a certain nationality, you are incapable of doing anything legally. There are quite of few legal immigrants from Mexico who would say your full of it and just making excuses.

The US Government does NOT support smugglers.
LEGAL immigrants send money back to Mexico too!
If people could come here legally, they would pay alot more?
Immigration is not for sale to the highest bidder last I checked.

Bottom line, your "people" need to WAIT in line like the others who are in line WAITING to enter LEGALLY!

Its still a drain on this countries resources .. when did the US start accepting pesos anyway?
I just did the math on your smuggler charge .. let's see let's be conservative and say there is about 10 million illegals here .. at $3000 a piece .. so that equals $30 billion ... now do you really think illegal immigrants are paying $30 billion to sneak over here? Doubt it.
LOL ... if Fox News is your resource you are more stupid than you sound.
