There's the ever popular Windy City Gym at 4401 W. Ogden Ave tel (773) 277 - 4091 Sam Colona is the Head Trainer there, he's a very nice knowledgeable guy with plenty of experience working with female fighters. The gym is huge close to 5,500 square feet.
There's Jabb Gym 410 Oakley 2nd Floor tel (312) 773 - 5222 Dominick Pesoli a fight Promoter owns it and Mike Garcia a former fighter is the Head Trainer there. It's a very modern gym with everything you could ask for in a boxing setting.
If you're not exactly in Chicago but the suburbs in a town about 30 miles Southwest is a Gym in Joliet, I use to train there, it use to be "Bucky's House of Pain" ran by 3x Golden Glove Champion Bucky Moreno but he moved, one of his fighters that he trained took over the responsibilities of the gym and in doing so changed the name to "Joliet Boxing Club" 9 West Cass Street 3rd Floor tel (815) 474 - 9815. The nice thing about Bucky's Gym is that it is and always will be free to anyone who wants to learn how to fight.

I nearly forgot my Trainer in his last three or four fights was Trained by Jesse "The Law" Torres in Aurora 626 North Root Street . Tel (630) 801 - 9572 very good Trainer.

get the phone book also go to your local YMCA or YWCA and ask around I know that there are boxing gyms in Chi town
go to google and type in boxing gyms in Chicago good luck
