Im talking about the corkscrew shaped rods. I need to know more about how to hold them in place rather than where to actually place them. My hair is relaxed if that makes any difference. if anyone has used them sucessfully i'd appreciate their input.

Here is a website that shows how to do a spiral perm. I haven't actually used them myself, but wouldn't mind having someone do a spiral perm on my hair.

If you are trying to get relaxed hair to spiral without a curling iron you have to get some setting lotion, section your hair and wrap hair on the rods. If the rods are a little prickly, buy some of the little paper that goes with it and wrap it on the rods and then the rods around your hair. Sit under the dryer until dry and thats it

I'm guessing there is a string that attaches at both ends of the rod. Just undo the string at one end of the rod and wrap your hair around the it, then click the end of th string back into the rod to hold your hair in there. Make sure you use papers if you're doing a perm, or you could burn the end of your hair off!

While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4 .
