DON'T DATE. You'll end up getting hurt, then you'll end up trying to fix things... you'll get hooked on guys, and start doing things you'd never wish you had. Just wait until at least mid-highschool to really "date"... the guys are WAY more mature and ready for a good relationship by then. Just enjoy the freedom of single now, and worry about serious boys later. Crushes are fun... but long lasting relationships when you're seriously ready are WAY more rewarding.

You don't need help, you need a pat on the back. I wish I would have left out relationships during middle/high school. Focus on school first. I think everyone in a meaningful relationship now would say that they had at least one relationship that was goofy/awkward. It doesn't matter when you start dating, there will always be first date butterflies. My advice would be to wait until you reach a level where you and the person you want to date are mature and know what you want.

If you are implying that you are going out with somebody right now, then just act like yourself. A relationship shouldn't depend on one acting differently to please the other. But honestly, it is very rare for someone to keep up with a relationship in middle school and carry it on in high school. I don't know anyone who's ever done that. So have fun anyway, and don't stress on it too much.

Be yourself, you obviously are nervous that's typical. This guy is as nervous as you are so just be yourself and have fun, try the movies or grabbing a snack. Wish you luck.

Be yourself and have fun, but don't let him "try" anything with you. also make sure you go home early so your parents don't worry:)
