If there is a god, he's probably open to everyone... not just picking and choosing according to beliefs. That's almost like picking a favorite child... it doesn't make sense. For all of you parents out there, would YOU ever pick a favorite child? Of course not. This is what I wish a lot of christians could see, but then again I'm not against the religion either. I just think some people need to expand their views and discover more for themselves, and themselves only. Just a spiritual sort of thing, not just going to church and dropping cash in the plate, as you're being talked down to the entire service... it just doesn't make sense to me. We're all sons of god.

Uh, well you are considered a son of God, but I suppose Jesus was THE son of God. Would you be willing to get tortured on so many levels for the people who hated you? For all humans for all time? People you don't even KNOW? Jesus was! And besides, you were born within the last hundred years, the world needed Jesus before then!

Jesus is the only Son of God. He is God. He is not just a prophet. Altho' at one point He was known as the Messiah. You can not compare or aspire to be the son of God; as you're only a human being. You are not in the same league as Jesus or God who's divine and holy. Although God created us to His image. And Jesus taught us to follow in His footsteps, Try reading the Bible and the life of Jesus so you can accept His divinity. He performed a lot of miracles, like turning water into wine and making Lazarus rise from the dead,to name a few. He himself died on the Cross and resurrected from the dead. Can a mere human
being do all of this? If He's here today, I'm sure He'll open your eyes to believe.

I can tell that you have never read the Word of God by the question you have submitted. You must please forgive for ranting on you like I am going to do but I feel that by doing so it may help you to at least think about your life and what is to become of it when you die.
You write: "jesus son of god?"
This is not a question but a statement. You give no respect to God by using the lower case "j" in the name Jesus. You go on to ask if Jesus Christ was the only Son of God. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. We all living and dead are the children of God. That answers this part of your question.
You continue to write, I believe in him as prophit, but no god. Your spelling and sentanse structure sucks. Is it presumptuoues of me to ask if you attended school in this country?
You don't believe in Jesus Christ at all. If you did you would never lower yourself to the level you are at this very moment in your life.
John 1:1 tells us all that Jesus Christ is God. If you have a Bible, go there now and read this. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus Christ is the Word of God. Just like your word is you.
I say shame on you. I really feel bad for you and people just like yourself who have never read the Word of God with understanding to gain the wisdom that is contained therein. May God have mercy on you my friend.><>

Instead of asking God why you or I weren't considered the only begotten (important word, John 3:16) son of God, you should thank Him for Jesus.
If I had been asked to do what Jesus did, go through the life and death He did, just to give this world of sinners a CHANCE at a relationship with God......this world wouldn't have stood a chance.
I don't even like it when people don't like me...much less want to torture and kill me. I would have caved in a heartbeat.
Would you really have wanted to have been assigned Jesus' role in history?

OK, Jesus was one of Three Things..
1. He was utterly Insane and possessed by some force that allowed Him to perform 'Miracles'
2. He was the greatest Liar in the history of the world
3. He IS whom He claims to be....He Is the WORD OF GOD sent to Earth in Human form...He is 100% God and 100% Human
BTW, it's PROPHET, not prophit

I believe we are all sons and daughters of God and Jesus was no different. God shattered himself on the expanse of the universe and thus we were created.
