Why don't you stand up and really do something about the Christian extremists forcing their beliefs into US governance?

I vote. I lobby. I am not Christian in any religious sense, so they are not my brethren to temper. If anything, some cast me as enemy by the slurs and hate they say.

I'm very familiar with founding fathers, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The country is based on the principle of separation of church and state because of the religious tyranny experienced under English rule. Those of non-majority faiths were discriminated against. Yet, the US today has more religion in its laws than when the courntry was founded, and it's growing.

I agree with you.

Much of this, however, came as a result of the "red scare."

That's when they added "under God" into the Pledge.

You will watch the extremists go bananas of the Muslims exert enough force in government to try and change that to Allah. Then you'll watch them do a fancy two step.

With all the Mexican immgrants coming into America, the Catholics will get a firm majority. Right now they stand at 20% and if they let another 12 million Cathlic Mexicans become residents this goes up to 25% and could hit 30% by 2015.

The NEXT largest religion in America is the COMBINED Baptists at 15%, but that means you have to get Southern Bapitists, Black Baptists and Northern Baptatist to agree on the same thing.

After this come Methodists with just over 10%

While Protestants make up a clear 75% you can't get them to agree on much of anything.

People here don't actually realize that 98% of America is religiously affilaited and Protestants make up the colletive bulk, but the Catholics have a decisively collective majority.

Islamics currently make up 1%, but all they need is 10-15% to play politics with laws.

We're opening ourselves up for all this.

EVERY Religion in the world is respected and treated with Honor and Dignity by The Media, European Countries and the United Nations, EXCEPT Christianity and Jews......Please explain how Homosexuals can DEMAND to be allowed to marry, the 10 Commandments be removed by the ACLU....Islamic Muderers are called 'Suicide Bombers' for blowing themselves and INNOCENT people up for a Jihad....and we, as Christians are FORCING our beliefs on the US GOVERNMENT? This Country was founded to have FREEDOM to worship the way we want...and EVERY form of worship is tolerated and encouraged and even TAUGHT in public schools to my children, EXCEPT Christianity.....My 2 sons and 2 daughters are forced to be told EVOLUTION is why we are here and that our existence is based on 'FROM THE GOO TO THE ZOO TO YOU'...We as Bible Believing, Tax Paying, Dedicated and Proud Americans simply WANT to be given the same respect and consideration as everry other freaky religion popping up today....

Excuse me,,,have you bothered to read about the life of the founding fathers? Most were devoted Christians, because of that we have the freedom to speak our minds. True Christians like George Washington were not interested in forcing thier faith on anyone, they were focused on ensuring that everyone could worship or not worship freely. The founding fathers designed the government to be a moral and ethical agency, but it has becoem a slaugfhter house of the innocent thanks to people like you who don't read the constitution, bill of rights or the federalist papers.

stacia,
We have something called a vote here in the USA. We don't tend to have coups and personal bombings. Besides, only a defeatist would say something like what you said. If Christians were so powerful, there wouldn't be Evolution in schools and democrats in office. So your premise is wrong.

Get it right! Aren't you asking these questions nightly?

They do but the capitalists who finance the extremists won't give them publicity.

Moderation and peace don't sell soap and advertisers won't support it.
