I like to do pottery with my girlfriend. We paint it and then leave it at a place where they fire it and harden it. I thought you had to like men in order to be gay but my friends think its stuff like when I paint the pottery or because I wear clothes that are not real manish. My girlfriend used to not think I am gay but now she is not so sure because I am worried about it so much.

if you're a boy and like girls, you're straight.
if you like both boys and girls, you're bi.
if you like pottery and worry about being gay then, you're a nervous potter.

The fact that you are even asking the question means that you need to do some serious soul searching. Liking pottery doesn't mean you're gay, liking other men do. Deep down in your heart only you know the answer to the question. Do you really want to date guys? Are you turned on by the idea of being with another man...even just "experimenting"? If so, then you may be gay or at least bi-sexual. But only you can answer the question for sure. Your friends can't and definately not a bunch of strangers on the internet.

Believe me, doing pottery doesn't make you gay, in no way shape or form! To he*l with your friends, what kind of friends are they if their trying to convince you that you're gay.......come on MAN use your head for something besides a hatrack. I've looked at your other questions, they don't sound gay to me. You need to stop listening to your so called friends. Homosexuality is a serious subject, you sound way too young to be kicking that around so lightly. I'll tell you what.......I don't know where you live, do you know of a gay bar or hangout,if you do, why don't you go down there(by yourself), watch them for awhile, observe how they act, their mannerisms, how they interact with each other, can you honestly say that this is how you feel, from the bottom of your heart. No its does not make you gay. There are a lot of guys who do pottery or art for fun or a living... So does this make them all gay. No. If you like pottery then keep doing it. Bugger what others think.

the definition of being gay means that you're attracted to members of the opposite sex. the term is homoSEXuality. it's about sexuality and sexual feelings. just because you enjoy doing some things that girls like to do does not in any way mean you're gay. my pottery teacher at school is a man and he's happily married to a woman.
also, if you like the style of women, you can label yourself metrosexual if you'd like.
but i think you should stop TRYING to label yourself. if you think you may be attracted to men, then you may want to consider that you're gay. but other than that, your friends and girlfriend are just being ridiculous and mean.

There's nothing wrong with liking those types of things and NO that does not make you gay. Certain guys (a rare few) are actually sensitive and they get all the girls. One of my guy friends is super sweet and not very manly but is super attractive and has girls lining up to talk with him. Including college girls (I'm a sophomore in high school). Maybe they're just jealous because you have a girlfriend and they don't. lol.
