A 19 year old guy is 'unlikely' to be as mature as you. Young women are more mature. They just develop faster.

Still, if you feel you have a lot of common interests and values, and not just a groin problem, check it out. Have an understanding though about what each wants or expects in this relationship.

Well I would say your being risky because as you become a old man I would ask yourself will this young woman stay with you through becoming old ,just like when you get to be 42 then she will be 29 and most twenty-nine year old women that has been with a older man for awhile tend to want to stray an look for the young life they have long for an where would that leave you----starting over ,hurt,and probably low self esteem ..but hey i have seen few but some that has actually worked out and some women that I know right now is strolling their old man in a wheel chair ,so what kind of future does anyone have when there is such a age difference ,see you need to think long term if you think your truly in love !

No you are not wrong it is practically in our nature. all throughout history, an age difference like that wasnt unusual. common actually. america is actually known to the outside world to be a prude. I am 19 and just got out of a long relationship with a thirty-four year old man. he was great.

I got ya one better. I am 39 and in love with a 19 yr old. She is of age and can make logical decisions. As in your case, if they are legal age then they can make their own mind up what to do or not do. If they we 15 or 16, then that wouldn't be good. Don't lasten to the fools that say age matters. If it matters to them they shouldn't do it but they can't tell you how to live your life. Not their life, not their decisions!

No. Since you are both over the age of 18, you are legally able to have a relationship. There is nothing the law or your families can do to put a stop to it. As long as you are both cool and down with each other, then it is not society's business to say.

Age is just a number...how you feel about someone is what really matters. My parents (mom and step-dad) are 10 years apart and they are the happiest couple i've ever seen. The age has nothing to do with how they feel for eachother. Dont let the age bug you, just think of it as a number, and you should be fine

I don't think that the age difference is the issue - there is a 13 year gap between my wife & I, and the age difference has never been an issue. She's mature for her age, and I'm immature for mine, so we kind of meet in the middle.

No, in love age is not a problem,
If he loves you and you get married, it is even to your advantage specially when you grow older, since men tend to grow sexually older earlier than women,, then you have the edge for that and met equally when you will be 60 and he would only be 47..
