You need to check with your vet, my pet has vestibular disease(head tilt)due to an inner ear infection he was on a antibiotic for 5 weeks. Continues to go to the vet for follow up visits. Articles that I have read, it is possible for full recovery from head tilt though it may take weeks, and may not be complete.

I recently had this same experience with my 8 week old kitten. I took him to the emergency vet clinic and he was diagnosed with "Acute idiopathic feline vestibular disorder" otherwise known as middle ear infection. His head still tilts to the side also but I have been researching this disorder and all the literature states that it can take weeks to months for this to go away. And sometimes it never goes away. It does not interfere with my kittens activity level so I try not to let it bother me. I love him anyway and this just makes him look more cute. Hope your kitty is alright. Good luck.

To the vets your cat needs more meds or has ear mites. Ear infections are extremely painful and may make your kitten be a mean adult from not treatment. It may associate pain with you since it still hurts. Get it to the vet

I think he is tilting his head because that ear still hurts. He needs to see a vet.

on first thought i would say your kitty may have a balance problem brought about by a condition in its ears, like an incipient infection - have him checked by the vet... better safe than sorry, ah?
