Christianity also commands that the faithful kill the nonbelievers. Christianity does condamn nonbelievers. And I don't "bash" Christianity or Christians. Things are what they are. If Christianity is contradictory and harmful, that's not my fault. People who don't like what I'm saying can give me thumbs down all day long, but I can give you the passages that back me up in about 2 minutes. Give me thumbs down if you also want to give a thumbs down to the truth about the Bible.

Read rev bud? Christ is gonna KILL the "INFIDELS" when he comes back!
Bro I am a Christian and Love to converse with the infidels...or atheists or whatever you wanna call them. Count it all joy brother when you fall into various persecutions...even here. Christianity stirrs up EVERYBODY its so cool ! the Holy Spirit is truth and truth stirrs people up. The blind the darkness gets uncomfortable when the light shines....remember the demon posessed when Christ stepped on the scene...they went bizerk! "Why have you come? To torment me thou Son Of GOD!"
Down to earth again the psychological reason....well why do their remarks of opinions bother YOU my brother?
Because we ALL havd this belief system each his own, and when something comes along that contradicts our system...it produces discomfort because we are ALL comfortable in our belief system be it religious, political....we dont and just cant be wrong so we defend our belief system earnestly and that which does not line up with it we attack to expell it from our consciousness.
If I say THERE IS NO GOD! that rubs you wrong cause YOU GNOW THERE IS A LIVING GOD!
Basically the reason athiests "attack" Christianity is THE VERY SAME REASON that you and other Christians "attack" Atheism....meditate on it and you shall see you are NO different, ONLY in ....well theory.
Hey, I say its blue you say its green Shoot bre there both colors!
You are passionate and i commend you, but seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you...you will understand.
Thanks for the opportunity to answer this wonderful quest-ion. Seriously.
Hang in there Brother...Christ is comming, and is already here...search your heart.

Not all Atheists feel the need to "bash the Christians", just because we do not believe in religion does not mean that we can not be peaceful. My belief is to each is own; as long as you are not bringing any harm on someone else. I don't believe that any religious figure would want blood to be shed in their name. I believe that some people need religion and that it does great things for them. Some people need that guidance in their life, a path to be told to them to follow. But some of us create our own path, no worse, no more harmful, just our own. So if you are religious and feel enlightened and enriched, then I say good for you.

Excuse me, but Christianity NEVER says to kill the unbelievers! What Bible are you reading!?? That is NOT true! It says that Jesus came to save the lost, not condemn them. Saving is not killing to Christians. Too God killing is wrong. The Ten Commandments say "Thou Shalt NOT Kill". That sounds like He doesn't want us to kill to me. In fact many Christians were martyred and gave their life just so we could have the Bible, not the other way around. And the Bible also says that if we hate someone THAT is the same as killing in God's eyes and one of the things God HATES is the shedding of innocent blood. You've got your facts a little wrong there on Christianity.

christians also bash the atheists beliefs and then follow up by telling them god (who they don't even believe exists) is going to put them in hell. it's a two way street.
people are too intolerant of other people who do not share the same beliefs they do. one reason we may discuss christianity more is because we know more about it. we've all grown up around it. but how many of us actually know a lot about islam? or at least enough to argue about it?
i think you, as well as everyone else, should respect other people's beliefs. you should not condemn islam if you do not know much about it. you should also not condemn anyone else if he or she does not believe what you do. it's not fair. if you treat atheists with respect, they will treat you with respect also.

I'm not an atheist, but I and a lot of others, are so sick of Christian's trying to rule our lives and the world. Unless I'm hurting someone, what I do, feel, or think, is nobody's business. My friend gets traumatized from church always trying to tell her what to do, what to think, how to feel. I think the Christians do the bashing. If you sweep off your own porch, you don't have time to worry about your neighbors. The problems with a lot of Christians is they don't mind their own business. They tear people down. I think we should build each other up.

I've lived in Saudi Arabia and consider the current wave of propaganda about Islam a direct result of idiot Christians and their knee jerk reactions to anything that their cult leaders tell them to believe or say.
And, makes Christians far more dangerous than a handful of Muslim extremists. Mainstream Christians want to bomb other nations into the stone age. That philosophy is far more threatening to the world than anything a "Muslim terrorist" can do.
And, Christians have weapons of mass destruction that they have and will use when given the opportunity.
Fundamentalist Christianity must be opposed anywhere it raises its ugly head.

I used to bash them before I became one. The fact is, many Christians are belittling of other peoples' beliefs and come across to unbelievers as very very arrogant and annoying.

The people of Islam are not the ones coming to my door, not the majority I put up with in my country, and are not the ones showing me prejudice (and bashing) for my beliefs. It is Christians.

In these end times Satan is working overtime to get all the souls he can gather to join his legions. Those that are bashing and hating God are listening very well to Satan and doing his will. We should not be bashing any religion no matter what deity they worship, as it is not for us to judge others. One day in the not to distant future God will say that’s enough and then woe unto him that is an unbeliever.
