To me both are important, but we could at least put something at the border to stem the droves of illegals that are coming in.

Oh, where is the mathematician when you need him? Miss those questions. I think border security is more important and the War is still an important issue. I agree that we can do something for our nation and stop this illegal invasion. You dealt a good hand.

Our American soliders are dying for this country over there. that is what is important. They are coming home hurt and mentally ill. this is what you are not seeing. My husband has so many problems after his first tour in Iraq. The American people are not to be concered with the illegals that are hopping the border. Heck lets put them on the front lines of an IED and see if the still want to be an American after all. I bet they will take there border jumping asses back to where they came from. My mother has been in this country for 30 yrs (from Mexico) she is also a supporter of if u r not here legally then get the hell out. She does not want to help pay into welfare for some idiot that does not belong here.

Of course both are important,but the war in Iraq can be stopped in many ways. We could just pull out.we could really fight an all out war and end it with strength ,or we could leave it all up to the people of Iraq.
.It seems the war on illegals cant be handled in most of those ways except one.
Fight an all out war with all our laws and strengths,it can be stopped,it only take commitment to the cause by every one.First of all enforce our excising laws,second pass more effective laws to stop the company's from hiring illegals,fine them,and impost a sanction on them until they comply.Place our armed active duty military on our borders to secure them.The fence may be a deterrent to some but it will be a symbol of this country's new policy on illegal immigration.The time has come to fight for our own rights,not the worlds rights.America needs to be a little selfish for awhile to fix our selves.We should not be the dumping ground for other nations problems.

The problems caused by a mass of Illegal aliens coming in a not orderly way makes it a big concern. Those problems are hurting others here who we need to protect.
The war is a concern -as there are many wars and rumors of wars (since the beginning of time). There will always be trouble here--some we can stop some we can not.
But we can curb illegal migration and that protects other here too. What we can do to protect our Nation's children we should. That is only right.

I feel the borders need to be secured, regardless of the war. We need to ensure that there is a decent, proud country for our soldiers to return home to and so they know that what they are fighting for is worth it and that we care about our country as much as they do.

no they are not ... the border has been there and the illegals have been coming in for 200+ years ... it is NOT a clear and present danger ... an administration with "mini-nukes" and a policy of preemption that is embarked upon an agenda of global domination and a neo-imperialistic conquest for energy in the middle east with iran in its sights is a much bigger issue i think....

both are equally important to me..tarriest can come through Mexico just as easy as they can a plan ride..and the illegals are bringing disease and they are a burden on our economy..just to name few things..the illegals are hoping that we will turn a blind eye to them because of the war..

I don't think it matters. This country has the resources (if it has the resolve) to solve all of the problems that confront it without sacrificing one issue for another.
