It is natural to grieve. How long has it been that your father died? It does ease over time-possibly 2 years. If it interferes with your life, find someone wise with whom to talk about your fear. I wish you peace.

Listen, you obviously need to read a very good book that will help you understand about death. If you learn about it as a natural course of life, you won't have this constant dread. We dread the unknown.
Look for "On death and dying" by Kubler-Ross (last name). She also wrote a series of articles and a few other books on the subject. It is important that you read in order that you might understand. I promise you that you will not be scare or frightened afterward. Also, after you read the fist one cited above, see if you can get your hands on, "Talking With Terminally Ill Patients and Their Caregivers About Death, Dying, and Bereavement" and you may be able to assist other family and relatives with the same feelings that you feel now. Would you please do that?

I do. It is a natural thing, the only thing that we are sure of in the world, yet the biggest mystery.
My Father died suddenly and I found out today that my Grandmother has lung cancer. It is hard to deal with but we just have to do the best we can and keep faith.
I have irrational thoughts about my children dying. I worry all the time... I know that is normal but I am a bit obsessive about it.
We all deal with things the best way we know how.

Death is a hard thing to deal with, my Dad died very suddenly, and I miss him so much, but I cherish all the memories I have of him and take with me thru life a part of him as his daughter. He lives on in me and I am proud to have had him for my Dad. Forget the sadness, and always remember the wonderful times you had with him, he would have wanted that for you! God bless and live your life, do not fear and worry, life is too short! Hope this helps.

I don't have a hard time dealing with it because I don't understand it. We weren't meant to die and the part that turns invisible never does die. I grieve because they're not where I can see them but in my heart(where I really see people for who they are)they're always with me, I just don't have any new memories of them

I have a really bad time with death. I haven't been able to deal with several deaths, and I don't know why: one main one is animals. If an animal is asleep, I get afraid that it is dead, and have to wake it up to be sure.

You have a fobia. Try to remember that death is just the begining and get involved with a religion you are comfortable with. Then the fear will go away :)
Hope this helps.

Just remember that the people that have died, or someday will, are only beginning another chapter in their life, and they're in a better place and arn't suffering.
