First of all u will need a high end graphics card to run vista. No internal graphics!!! The reason behind this is there will be a lot of 3-d graphics and windows. Also there is a vioce recognition feature that can allow u access any program by talkin to ur PC. ITs also the most secure software and stable. But thats what they said about XP, hahahah. THe upgrade is gonna run u a little less then $300. SO start savin.

Not much. Got a lot of glitz but nothing important. There are Linux distros out there that have everything VISTA will have EXCEPT the need to constantly download patches.
