Stridrite has always been able to provide shoes for the needs of my children--even my child with clubfeet.

Stride Rite has just about everything- but another idea is to get him a little pair of cowboy boots. They are great- and very rigid. Check in Western wear stores... or online. Good names are Tony Lama, Justin and Durango. I would have his feet measured at a western store, as many boots fit a bit differently than regular shoes.

Check at a Stride Rite store. They are great walking shoes.

Is this the only kind of walking he/she does? on his toes? If so, I wouldn't encourage this by getting non-flexible shoes. Get shoes that make him walk on his entire foot.

Also, I know Stride Rite has great shoes, but they pride themselves on their shoes flexibility. Be worth a shot to contact them though.
