the Pete Rose confession baseball? He autographed several baseballs recently along with the sentence, "I bet on Baseball."

There are 30 of these inscribed baseballs that are being sold at Field of Dreams stores and also on his website. But Pete might sign more. Those who pay $299 for one of these are going to lose because if he signs more the value will drop significantly.

How many did he autograph? If it was a lot, then no. The more there are, the less value they will hold in the future.
Though that is pretty freakin hilarious.

Would I pay $299 for one of those balls? Probably not. I think it's awful that it's even come to this for Pete. Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame. He's one of the greatest hitters to ever play the game. He's the original 'Johnny Hustle' and he even laid claim to the head first slide. What a beast!

absolutely not. This man has been banned for doing something that almost destroyed baseball, and hes made a living trying to get the leagues forgiveness, and the fans on his side. Every year duirng HAll of fame ceremonies, he stands two blocks from cooperstown and signs baseballs to get the fans to like him. I wouldnt want anything to do with him

No, but then again I really don't know the value of sports memorabilia. I'd rather save up for something else. Do you think it's a good investment? Could you sell later at a much higher value?

No. I could use the money for better things like betting on horse races or the upcoming baseball playoffs, etc...

What it said was "I'm sorry, I bet on baseball". And no I wouldn't pay $299 for it.

NFW. You're only fueling Pete Rose's greed. Is it going to be worth anything, no because of the stupidity of it all.

no, IMO it is just a way for him to make more money. Great baseball player, amazing but there is a reason he is not in the hall and I will no longer support anything he does.
