"What is more stupid, a person who worships a God they can't see or a person who is offended by a God they don't believe exists?" -Brad Stine

I have another question. A few Atheist/Agnostics sayed they weren't offended by the God but by the people that believe in God. Do you not think it kind of us that if we believe that you will not go to heaven if you don't believe then we try to "save" you? You say your offended by us telling you you'll go to hell but we are telling you this so that you won't go to hell. Lets face it, if someone tells you your going to get hit by a car if you try running across a freeway, would you run or would you stay safe?

If God exists, there can be eternal benefits to believing in Him.

If He does or does not exist, there can be no benefit from being offended by Him or a belief about Him.

Good point, although I don't like to see name calling on either side.

I do enjoy Brad Stine's brand of humor.

Have a good evening!

the one who is offended by a God he doesn't believe in...because if he was offended then the God he doesn't believe in has a sort of power if you will over him.....that's why I give no heed to what I don't believe in....I give all glory to my God who I know exists whether I see Him with the physical eye or not....Jesus is LORD!

Both are equally stupid, but I haven't witnessed an atheist who is offended by a "god". It's usually just the people who believe in "it"

So rhetorically speaking, it worse to keep your mouth shut and have people think you a fool? Or to open it and remove all doubt? Because one way you're damned if you do and the other you damned if you don't.

Atheists/agnostics aren't offended by God, they're offended by people shoving the religion in their face and trying to sell it as fact (and threatening them with eternal punishment if they fail to obey).
