ok, i'm serious, and not a snob.....and i'm flattered, and it's like then how about my person? ummm, how come i don't get the stuff that means something.....yes i'm a nice gentle gal. should i say something like, 'ummm, do you like anything else?'.....gosh that sounds tarty.

guys are always saying woah your hot and stuff like that, and i get tired of it also...why cant they say something about my personality, or my sense of humor, why does it always have to be about my looks...sometimes i go to them, hey cant you just like something else about me other then my looks...luckily for me, it worked out with this one guy, and now we've been goin out for almost 3 years...so the next time you get frusterated, just ask them if they like something else about you, maybe it'll work out for you too...lol...best of luck!

I have the same problem Im 19 and married. Everyone said it would quit once I got out of high school, well I graduated when I was 17 and I can tell you it dont stop. If a guy is only into for your looks and your body type then he is not worth your time unless he can see all the things about you outside of just your looks. Let them know you are about more then just your looks and if they are too dumb to see that then they are not worth your time.

Try to do things that will get your personality noticed. Be nice, caring, outgoing, friendly etc. Besides, dont worry if comments are about your looks. That is a good thing, dont bite the hand that feeds. Try not to focus on the bad part. Someone who really cares will notice your personality and comment on that too.

Well looks are the first thing people notice obviously.
Sometimes guys focus on that initially because they are overwhelmed with your beauty, perhaps maybe even intimidated.
You may need to de-emphasize your looks a bit so people can get past them and see the real you.

All I can say is dress modestly and make sure the people you are taking these compliments from are mature and know that people are more than just looks! Cause if all they care about is the physical, are they really worth paying attention to?

personally, i think its kind of weird having someone come up to you saying "HEY! i think you have a great personality, i just wanted you to know that" sounds just a little more tarty that "do you like anything else"

Are these comments coming from people that know you well? Alot of people go by first impression which could be the way you look.

i feel uncomfortable when some admires me for what i look like. i tell them thank you, because they are being nice, but i think everyone wants to be admired for the person that they are. being complimented for being you is most satisfying, and it gives you a good feeling about yourself.

Well, it means people think your pretty. Yes, there are better things to be, such as kind, happy, giving, stuff like that. But if that doesn't work out for you, you can always go into acting. :)

Beauty comes from within... if your friends are always talking about your outside im sure they are just "hainging" around you because you "look good" !
