Why would anyone go overseas looking for mail order brides when they are already HERE !!!

Cheaper and more willing oversea's.
Getting married ina foreign country and "transfering" the validity of the marriage could be easier too.
Depends on Exchange rates prolly. $1000 or $10000 may seem like more money in a country where the exchange rate is 1 to 438 and a bowl of rice costs a penny.
Also if it is a forced marriage by crime elements more pressure from the crime elements / parents or what have you by physical threats.
But arranged marriages are an old custom.. having money to send the person overseas is another less risk too.
But true if you have domestic product sure, but what if it is a sting? If paying for a bride illegal? If it is maybe it isn't in the other country....

That's a good question. Why would anyone go looking overseas when they can be emotionally and financially excoriated right here in the States?
Honestly, I think that men here believe that the exotic girl from a second or third world country will: A) be more submissive to his demands B) have "Old Country" values and never cheat on him or C) at least be an exotic trophy peice. Whatever is the case, she's probably looking for her green card and doesn't really give a damn about the guy. In fact, if you believe in love nowadays, I think that you're a sucker too.

You know if you cant find someone in the states good luck. In the end its all the same. Yes some women here have children from failed relationships but at least she gave a **** enough to have the child and try to raise it. I was one of those moms. I married and had a son. Later I saw that his drinking habits were more important than his own son. I am married now and have 3 kiddos. It is not about the kids its about the fact that you want a fresh young virgin to tame. Well buddy if any of you idiots were good enough they would have came to you first. Not all the money in the world can buy good looks and charm. Get a girls from overseas whom will put up with second best

Sounds bad, but all I find here are women who want my money in exchange for sex plus they want me to adopt their kids because she had babies with a loser or three.
I don't know that I would look for a foreign bride online or whatever, but my cousin did, and got a wonderful, nice woman from China with a great sense of humour. Not a subservient type either, just a nice girl. And he didn't buy her, but got to know her on a foreigner dating site over a few years.
I have some friends in China and they tell me about cultural issues. It seems in most places there (and I presume elsewhere) women who are not married by 27 or who are divorced have a hell of a time finding any guy who wants them. Sounds crappy, but that is how it is, and so these women are more likely to be very thankful to have a nice guy.
Don't get me wrong ... I dont think all western women are witches and know a few I would love to marry if they weren't all already married. I just don't know any single ones (with no kids). Before I sit around waiting for a friend to die so I can date his wife, I'd go hunt for a nice foreign girl online.

If you go overseas to find your bride, she is not mail order! Mail order is an old term for women who came to be with their man, and married him, sight unseen! It does not really exist anymore.
For older men going overseas to meet a nice lady, you still have to meet her and her family, and date her just like here....nothing wrong with that notion...
But you are right to suggest their are already millions of foreign women here in North America already. Thousands working at your local mall....go shopping!

Because unlike in this country the women from those countries still respect their men. Remember they took out the words love honor and obey from marraige vows. They still beleive in that.
OR
They are really self concious people with very bad self esteem who find it easier to buy somone out than to actually put the work into finding them on their own.
