Specifically, my ROTC unit needs 2 of one of the following rifles (and not a mix and match): Springfield 1903, Springfield M1 Garand, or the M14. They must be made of wood. Resin and plastic are useless and look horrible. I would really appreciate links to the sites.

I found this site that has a DrillAmerica M-1 replica, made of wood, and well-balanced, according to the catalog. Of course they also carry the ones you hate, too.

The Springfield 1903 replica at the site below is made of wood, but there's not a lot of detail to insure that it's what you are looking for.

Lastly, I couldn't find anything for your M-14 needs. I hope that this will get you closer to your goal, though.

I should think that your ROTC Commandant could get these directly from the government. If you have to buy them, they are all available at reasonable prices directly from the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). Check this source on the internet. If they know your intent, they can probably furnish non-firing weapons, or you can easily remove the firing pins. I doubt that you really want them demilitarized, with the bolts welded shut.
