There actually is a study out there that says that if you don't sleep for a really long time, it takes away your depression. Lack of sleep can, in some cases, be a remedy for depression. Although it isn't effective, since everyone needs sleep. But I found the study to be very interesting since I too will feel depressed moreso after just waking up in the morning.

Because you know what your day has in store for you because you just went through it the day before. Yea, you get up, eat breakfast, and go to school or work, come home fix dinner, and then it starts all over again.

But something you have to remember is that not everyday is the same. One day you might meet someone new, the next day something you have not done in a long time, or even something that you have never done before.

Mine is in the morning also.

I believe i make mine worse as i wake up but sort of lie there for a bit which is when the negative thoughts start coming in therefore making me feel not good for the day. so i try to wake up and get up immediatly to a list of things i have prepared the night before including training or something physically exerting

I know that it is and that there is an answer as to why, but I can't remember the answer. I do know that the hormone, Melatonin is elevated during the night and that people can feel depressed from Melatonin.

I'm not sure, but I'm very grouchy in the morning. I think mine has something to do with my blood sugar being low after not eating for so long.
