You know how they say replace two meals a day with Special K and see weight loss? Well, I am trying to get into shape. I am 25 female, 5ft 2in (short gal) and weigh about 120 lbs. But you see, I'm not fat, I just have a tummy! I hate it! My husband is in Iraq and instead of sitting on the couch I want to work on myself to surprise him. I was wondering if you think that diet will help, along with exercise or any other suggestions would be appreciated. I am also a mommy of two, one in school during the week, so my time is limited.

The only problem with the special K diet is that there is very little food. So a suggestion I would have if you were to use that diet is to drink large ammounts of liquids. A person on a diet should drink 10 cups (80 ounces) of water a day. The reason for this is because 75% of Ameericans are chronically dehidrated. Because of this, 37% of Americans' thirst mechanism is so weak that it is mistaken for hunger. Even being SLIGHTLY dehidrated can reduce your metabolism by 3%.

Also, every study done on the subject has shown that people who drink 3 cups (24 ounces) of milk a day tend to be leaner. Milk also healps bones.

In drinking all of these liquids, your need for food is greatly decreased (which works out great for a diet involving very little food), while boosting your metabolism. Good luck.

I've done it many times, the first time I did it went very well, I don't remember how much i lost but... i know i lost something. The last time I did it which was about 2 months ago I lost I'd say about 6 lbs.... i would have lost more if I wasn't bad on the weekends..... the weekend are so hard to keep up with this diet..... Sunday morning breakfasts at the diners... mmm yummy... temptation that is to hard to resist. And of course you have to like cereal, i could live of the stuff if i had to, I went out and bought all the flavors and the bars for mid day snacking. Another thing you should def utilize is the calorie journal, that thing is awesome, it tracks everything u eat and along with the calorie burned counter.... it tells you how many calories u burn from walking and simple things u do around the house like cleaning and looking after kids. with the calorie journal i also used calorieking.com this website is great it gives you the calorie count of every food you can possibly thing of...... funnel cake... 760 cals... lol, well i hope that answered ur quest!

The distinctive okay "weight loss plan" is effectively a advertising rip-off made up by way of the Kellogg's enterprise so that you just purchase their products. It's not healthful to load up on processed meals; and should you look on the serving measurement of cereal, you'll see that the only method it is a "food regimen" is that it limits the amount of food you devour. You're going to feel drained and hungry for those two weeks...I would now not suggest it. Simply devour a healthy balanced food regimen together with fruits and veggies and limiting processed foods; and be certain to recreation. I do not know why people are normally developing with these silly fad diets when consuming healthy and exercising is simply common feel.
