Also, does anyone know where one can get a professional to ascertain their authenticity? I don't want to post a reserve auction on Ebay to find out. And I don't want to falsely list the pins as originals if they're just reproductions....

I've already checked out the pga website eons ago...Nothing there, but i did discover that 1916 was the first year of the PGA.

Look on Ebay and see if there are any similar items. They won't be worth all that much though. Look on the web see if there are any sites specializing in antique golf stuff.

go to the golf channel, and i think you will find a section there that can shed some light on the 2 medalist pins. you might also try pga.com.

ive done it about other stuff, and they are super about it,
they actually call you back
