I was with a man who was 20 years older than me, and I was with him for three years. He was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love him with all of my heart, and the sex was totally amazing. But if you're under the legal age to date someone who's that old, you should really re-think about it. That's putting him in danger because you'd be jail bait. But if you're 19+ then you really shouldn't have much to worry about, unless he is just using you. I hate to say it but some older men are just looking for one thing because they're hitting their middle age crisis or whatever. But if you love him and the feeling is mutual and he's told her how much he cares about you and needs you in his life - Go for it. :)

as long as you love one another then what is the big deal? age is just a number. it means nothing! older guys are just as fun as younger ones. if he is trully a sweet guy and he treats you right then go for it. don't worry about people saying anything their probley jealous and don't want to admit it. it doesn't matter how old you are it's what's inside that matters. as long as he feels the same way go for it. no matter how old you are everyone has flaws some more than others. you can't judge someone who is older.

I would consider it, but it really depends on how much you like him. This might be a cliche, but age really doesn't matter when it comes to romance. GOOD LUCK w/everything!

I don't think age matters but I personally wouldn't have anything in common w/ a 47 year old man.
