Ok so i want to know if any of you have gone through this...ok there is this guy that i like ALOT and i really think he likes me too...but then i dont feel confident towards guys that like me...i think that im like not pretty enough and they wont want to go out with me..i always think there are prettier girls that they would like to go out with..i really dont think i am ugly though! AT ALL..im not. or im too afraid of what other people would think if i actually went out with him!! IDK...Help LoL

OK, you are comfortable if you create this prettier ghost for this guy you care about so you can feel jealous?!
And you can bluff confidence around guys who are strangers but don't feel confidence about guys that know you and might like you?! This sounds like a recipie for keeping guys away except creepy ones -- sounds like Little Miss Muffett.
I think it's time to call in the ghost busters. What other people think while the two of you are out together isn't even slightly important.
This guy is more important than the pack of mice you have lunch with in the cafeteria! Their nibbling gossip doesn't mean much! So talk to this guy and flirt with him to hint about going on a date.

There's always going to be prettier girls, no matter how gorgeous you are. Not all guys go for looks, some actually go for personality...and those are the guys you should be looking for. If you like this guy, and the guy likes you, then why do you care what other people think? It's not the other people that are dating this guy or that have to be seen with him...stop caring so much about what others are thinking and take a stand for yourself and what you want.

Okay yes i have felt like that to but you have to remember that you have something to offer others dont YOU there is no other you out there if someone truly likes you it wouldnt matter anyways if a super model walked up to him because you would already be his world i dont know if that helped or not but im gonna leave with this Please wait for the one who takes your breathe away who you have to see every day the one that makes you so comfortable and thinks about you and your feelings i dont know what kinda relationship your looking for or even your age but dont settle to fast if you are having worries already and you arent even with him yet wait make sure first But i do wish the best of luck

Stop thinking that way about yourself. You need to think that guys like you because I bet there are guys out there at do like you. If you think he really likes you too why even talk about this not being pretty enough. Just go up to him and ask him out. What do you have to lose, nothing at all. So don't be a chicken, just go do it and you will see you are pretty to him.

i have that feeling all the time and i havent entirely gotten past it yet either but ive found that its easier to start talkin to guys when you have ur firneds for support and then once ur comfortable then you can go it on ur own and once you guys are comfortable with each other you can have fun and not have to worry about the stupid stuff and you can just forget about everything else except for you two rite then...its a really great thing...good luck

hey...i am going out with a gay guy!!(not actually dating, just want to hang out with him) anyway, who cares what people think!! Sometimes I think my friend likes me and, who knows, maybe he does, I don't know... however, being friends with him is,in a way, better than being a couple because the drama of dating isn't there and we can't break up!! so whatever works for you!! I had the SAME problem myself last year. Just be yourself and if he likes you, when the time is right and he gets his courage up, he will totally wanna be a couple with you. It happened to me! It can totally happen to you. JUST BE YOURSELF. That's the key to it. ;-) Good luck!
