Ok, so I've seen her every now and then in the halls. I even say hi and smile. But she walks past me without looking at me. I don't mind, but I really want to get to know her. Any thoughts?

You should introduce yourself to her and maybe invite her out to lunch with some of your friends and some of her friends so both of you will be comfortable and it's easier to keep conversation going in a small group as oppose to one on one.

ASK HER OUT! Girls dream about getting stopped in the hallway to some guy asking her out. It makes her feel special. OR, if thats too bold for you get or make her a present and just stop her in the hall and say "I thought you might like this" and just walk away. I guarantee she will run back for more. Give her like a necklace or a bracelet or a friendship ring. something cute. Pay attention to her personal style and maybe you can pick up on something else she would like. Shy girls love attention!

well im very shy in person, and when a guy tried to talk to me, i pretty much just sat there, and didn't respond. i think the best thing to do is pull her aside when both of you are free and let her know that you like her, and that its okay for her to talk to you, she doesn't have to be shy around you cuz your not gonna think what she says is stupid or something like that, thats why some girls are shy, i know cuz i have a friend who talks to no one. just an idea, even though its a bit of a tough thing to do for you, probably, right??? good luck.

I'm just going to say a lot of things I think.
Maybe she doesn't know you are talking to her.
Maybe she has a boyfriend and he is very jealous and gets pissed off if his girlfriend talks to a guy that isn't him.
You said she's shy right? Well you kinda answered your own question {she's to shy to talk to you.}
Just keep doing what you do say hi to her and say stuff like hey how come you never say hi to me I say hi to you almost everyday and then introduce yourself or something.

do you know her name? what she likes? talk about that. shy or not people like to talk about themselves. get her number too!!
