definitely pop it...then clean it out with antibacterial soap, dry it off and moisturize the area.

Goodness, you should have asked the doctor these questions, after all you paid him and his advice comes with the visit.
Pop it or leave it alone and it will pop on its own. This is an age old question, to pop or not. I am a popper myself....especially if on your inner thigh, it probably hurts and annoys. Go ahead and pop the darn thing! Just make sure you get underneath it and push the pus out. On your thigh there's plenty of skin to get under the pimple and squeeze the garbage out.
Make sure all the pus is squeezed out, wash it afterward, maybe hit it with some neosporin to avoid any infection. If you can lay down at night in a way that will keep it exposed to air, that will help it heal. Yes it will heal and it will close up. Following the usual process, scab, then healing of the skin underneath.
Healing varies from person to person. If you are in good health within a week, is my prediction.
There is no drama here. Even if you don't pop it, it will probably pop on its own.

Do not pop it. Apply a hot compress onto it. Popping it will damage the skin. Of course it will heal. It doesn't take very long to heal at all and it will close.

oh for crying out loud Max.
Truth is you just don't wanna pop it cuz it's gonna hurt. It's in a tender spot aint it?
Wait till you wife is in the bathroom or something. Sneak over to her purse. Very quickly and quietly retrieve your nutsack.
Now that you got your balls back...Go POP THAT ZIT. then pour peroxide on it and clean it out real good.
Now you need to supplement your diet with a strong dose of vitamin C twice daily (1000 mg/day).

U should of just put toothpaste on it , let it dry up.
Its best to just put a bandaid with aloe plant on it now.
Or get some neosporin for pain creme and rub on it.
If all else fails, get an aloe plant , cut the leaf, put on the wound, cover and it will be gone by morn.

I'm wondering why your doc didn't do this for you. If he told you to pop it follow his instructions to a tee.
