It is perfectly round and about the size if a pimple. i just discovered it today with my tongue. It doesn't hurt but now that I know it is there it sure is bothering me.

It maybe that you have a saliva gland that is starting to inflame, it may get sore. It also could be a cold sore that is starting up...they can start out not hurting and end up being very sore. If it does get worse...have it checked out by the doctor. It really can be a number of other minor irritants of the mouth.

Try rinsing your mouth with some warm salt water, the mouth is the fastest healing part of the body.

I'm not sure really, but I get them sometimes too. As a matter of fact, I have one now. Someone once told me they were lie bumps!

U bit your tongue. It happens to everyone.
Anyway just salt water your tongue or put a teabag on it with honey. It will go away soon

could be a stone in the saliva gland.my son had one at age 3 the dentist found it he had to suck on lemon drops to get it working good after the removal. his gland would swell with it. could also be lack of vitamin c because of the deep redness try some chewable c tablets

Wait for a week or two and if it is still there and not improving then you need to have an oral screening from your dentist.

if you have had any kind of sexual relations then get an std check one syphilis has a symptom that is a sore in the mouth
