Personally, I would have to say life is love because even though life has its ups and downs you eventuaaly learn that life is what you make it and depends on the choices and decisions you as an individual make so if you live a good life rhan you will be surrounded by nothing but love because your future is in your hands.

Both. Love is life because without love, there can be no life. Also, life is love because it is a sense of being; it gives life purpose, direction, and meaning. If you have no love, you have nothing at all, even if you were to have all of the riches of the world. Without love, there is nothing at all. I would rather die than to be all alone and unloved.
