Of the Fence that is being constructed on the border? (height, depth, length) ? Do you think it will be enough? What else could be implemented to deter potential border jumpers?

A wall may have worked a thousand years ago, but it won't work properly in this situation. They will dig, swim, hitchhike, whatever it takes to get here. They will find holes, in that they are clever. At least it is a start. Now they just need to hold Mexico accountable for its own peoples crimes and we would be all set.

I don't think they have the dimensions yet, but a series of fences ranging in height from 10 to 25 feet with razor ribbon at the base, middle and top would work as long as there are other measures implemented as well. Movement sensors, infra-red, camera's, drone planes, and the good old human element - Border Patrol should be used along with it. They need to really increase the border patrol numbers. All the detection equipment in the world ain't worth crap unless you can get someone on the site quickly to make the arrest.

What I would do:

a. Height: At least 15 feet.
b. Fence type: Chain-link fence, razor wire, and barbed wire. There will be one wide gate that can be opened to let buses, trucks, cars, etc. through every 25 miles.
c. Other forms of security:
1. Cameras wherever the border patrol deems it necessary.
2. ARMED border patrol agents with vehicles best suited to the rocky desert terrain. They will patrol the border and be stationed at the gates. (They'll check the interior of the buses, trucks, cars, etc.)
3. Small helicopters to patrol from overhead.
4. (Maybe) Start pulling in U.S. troops and sticking them on the border.
5. Force anyone that leaves food, water, and/or medical supplies on the border to leave. Then, take the supplies away.

P.S. If they start digging tunnels we should enter them, arrest those passing through it, and then start closing it. YES, some people are always going to get past the border patrol, but this will at least give us a chance to start getting a grip on our borders. Also, I agree that we need to start controlling who enters America in general- we don't want "tourists" mysteriously disappearing.

No wall is going to work for long. They cross the border looking for better employment. There are laws about hiring illegal workers, but they rarely get enforced. The employers get away with paying less and keeping the working conditions pretty low. Any business that has a business model of hiring cheap labor that draws illegal workers is a business that needs to be shut down. If the legal labor doesn't want that employment then it's a failed business.

The fence will be constructed of 42 millimeter chain link topped with coils of razor wire and electric sensors. Observation towers will be placed every 3000 Meters equipped with Zerconium Phased Array Laser Canons, and High Density Silicon Particulators to intercept any illegals within the specified area.

Each observatrion Tower will be connected via underground tunnels to an underground district command and support facility housing about 3,500 undocumented foreign workers and military personnel. Sufficient provisions and munitions for extended operations will be stored in bomb proof silos within these facilities. Medical assistance groups will be located within a 24 hour walking distance of each of these new towers. Contracts for the cafeteria services within the facility are being approved without least cost bidding by the office fo the Vice President as we speak.

Most people are fleeing North to get out of the US just like the last 100 years.

The fence is to keep people in – embrace the illusion of freedom theocrats.
