I hold my stomach a lot. Every time I sit down I tighten and flex my stomach muscles ~ usually unconsciously, but it does help a lot.

Everyones body is different - I gain weight like a man, so the first place it goes, and the last place it will come off is the stomach. My "gut" will never be "concave". And I see no reason for it to be. It has muscle on it. And you CANNOT spot reduce. I can't believe people still think you can. You can't just do situps and magically lose the weight on your stomach while staying the same elsewhere. You have to reduce your body fat overall. If you are a guy, why are you asking this? I hope it isn't to make a girlfriend or anything feel fat.

Well I used to do a million crunches a day. Then I started to starve myself. But I found that keeping the calories really is what works the best.
