When I used to go to Kensington Market I saw a store on Baldwin Street (north side), just west of Spadina that carried a selection of British chocolates and candy. I don't know if it is still there and carrying the same merchandise.
On a recent trip to Ireland I was informed by the tour guide that the European Union was requiring Great Britain to comply with their standards for chocolate which meant reducing the cream content. Boo hoo!
I did see this reference on-line for British e-foods, 124 Baywell Crescent Aurora Ontario L4G 7N3 Canada

Wow, I can't believe everyone missed the BEST store! Shocking! lol
Go to The Toronto Beaches. There is a store there at Queen Street and Lee Street, called
"The Nutty Chocolatier" they have Gobs and Gobs of English Candy!
While you are in the Beaches also Check out "Sugar Mountain" located just East of Woodbine on Queen Street. They also have a ton of English candy.
Check out my links below!
Enjoy!

There's a place called "Sugar Mountain." One is on Yonge St. on the NE side of Eglinton, right by the subway. It's a retro candy store with all those things you ate if you were a kid in the 70's. As part of their rare candy concept they have a number of British chocolate bars and other candies as well.

My friend, who also misses English chocolate, tells me he gets some from a store in The Atrium at Yonge and Dundas.

Try Tutti Frutti, Sugar Mountain and that place at the Atrium on Bay (Tobacco store on main floor, they actually have a good selection).

David H answered your question.
However, English Candy or American Candy are both bad choices. Stick to Belgian Dark Chocolate.

Of course you miss the chocolates from home, but try some Swiss and Belgium chocolates, much better. Stay away from American chocolates...not very good,

Laura Secord or Purdies. I'm sure there's one if not both Candy stores in Toronto. I know we have them here in Vancouver.
