Were you once on fire for God, and turn away because you wanted to do something that was a sin, and followed after sin instead of God? Please explain the situation.

This is the constant life I have because what I consider lust becomes more and more refined the closer I grow to God. I realize just how far I am from Him.

At first it was obvious things like profanity, lying, stealing, lusting, etc. As we grow in our faith, we realize that profanity is not just curse words but any speech that is harmful to ourselves or others, we realize that lying is self deception and secrets and willful ignorance, we realize that stealing is taking time away from our children and those in need around us, and we realize that lusting is desiring anything to the point where it overshadows God.

When we begin to think we are not in this situation, we most certainly are.

That happens to everyone. No one doesn't intentionally sin. The Epistle to the Corinthians says that God understands our trials and is there for us. If you are saved, really saved, you will have less of a passion to sin. You will not be perfect, only Jesus was the perfect man, and even he came close. Pray for forgivness and you'll feel better knowing that you are forgiven. Read the Bible and you'll understand that you can't be perfect, that's why only Jesus can take us to Heaven.

I will never surrender my passion for God. Even if I swim in in darkness for an eternity I will say I love God and hope for rescue.
