Some of the nicest people I know of are catholics:

My best friend Hannah
Debra M
Mother Theresa
Everydaycatholic <-- Has been kind to others so far

I don't get it, they are all such nice people, what have they done to deserve hate?

There appears to be many here that just insult for the sheer pleasure they get from it. Of course they do it mostly in ignorance, some may be children, some just need to verbally abuse to make themselves feel better...whatever the case, Catholics shouldn't take it personally. Just pity them.

The only people that bash Catholics on a regular basis are other Christians. The biggest problem in Christianity is Christian on Christian hatred.

The Bible is the mind of God. No person has the capability to understand everything as God does. The best any of us can do is to understand bits and pieces. Each denomination has a good understanding of some concepts. Each denomination is completely wrong on some concepts. Our varying levels of understanding lead us to debate with one another. Some of those debates go into arguments beyond reason.

It's funny if you go churches of several different denominations, just listen and keep your mouth shut. I've done this. Almost every church I've been to has had people that accuse Christians of some other denomination of believing something awful and not being true Christians. I guess I should say its not funny at all, its sad.

In the past week, the Iranian president has said that there is a war between Islam and Christianity and the war would not end until everyone in the world had converted to Islam. Christians don't have to worry about some other religion taking over. They are giving away their own religion by bickering among themselves.

Not all Catholics are nice people. I have a relative who converted from Methodism just so he could been forgiven for anything plus drink alcohol. Not all Catholics are this way. I'm a Baptist and I have nothing against them. I may not believe in much that they do but the book of Corinthians says "Do not judge those that are right with God." I don't know for sure if they are...but who am I to judge. I'm pretty sure the Lord would've already struck them down as a Church.

Yeah, I've kind of wondered about this. Maybe it has something to do with Catholics being the majority. Catholicism is the largest religion in the world, so since they're the majority, it's "pc" to insult them. I guess it's along the same lines, like "reverse racism" in the United States. I guess, I don't know.

I was born a catholic, it was scary to me. All that kneeling, standing , ringing bells, mean nuns, catechism study..all by rote, Saturday confessions, fasting, mortal sins, veniel sins, cermonies of life, who you could and could not marry, sin for eating meat of Friday, forbidden to receive communion unless on an empty stomach..somber funerals, etc., etc. We knew that all thedr priedts did was drink and ask for more money for this, that or the other.

As I teen I stopped going out of fear of passing out in church (real) and then I grew up... and never went again. I feel better now. Now I know I didn't miss a thing... it has a bloody history like many other religions and I take a dim view of all organized religion.. It has nothing to do with true spirituality.

Just because someone is nice does not make them a believer or obediant to Gods biblical word, the Bible. One of the most basic fallacies of Roman Catholicism is its conception of the "infallible" church.Jesus said there would be "many false prophets" who should arise "and deceive many" (Matt. 24:11). The Holy Spirit made a similar statement (1 Jn. 4:1). As Peter said, "there were false prophets" among the people of the Old Testament, and even so "there shall be false teachers among you" (2 Pet. 2:1). Also, The BIBLE Only Is The All SUFFICIENT GUIDE TO SALVATION, BUT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TEACHES THAT IT IS NOT.

Nothing, of course.

These days any Catholic who stands up for what he or she believes in will be judged cruelly and unfairly according to the judgemental errors of a very small portion of Catholic priests, bishops, and the Pope.

We must all strive to do like Jesus said and take the beam out of our own eyes before noticing the splinter in our neighbors' eyes.

There's just so dang many of them. With that large of a number, there are sure to be some defects in the group. Those are the ones that tend to get the most attention.

I don't hate Catholics, I hate the fact that they hide their Priest so that they will not be caught by the law for being child molesters. I know how they change the priest from church to church when a mother comes to them and say my child has been molested.
So get off the high wagon and protect the children, remember one of them could be your own.
