Depending on how long she has been wearing the patch, she is about 90% protected against pregnancy. A friend of mine has been on the patch for two years now, but has still had two pregnancy scares. Just to be on the safe side, I would recommend a back up of sorts. Good luck :)

ur worried about gettin pregnant? you SHOULD be worried about catching something. And by the way, it doesnt matter if she has the patch, i was on birth control pills and he used a condom and now i got a three year old son.

Depending on what kinda of patch she's on..it can be any where 10-.1%..theres not sure garentee..but just to be safe..wear one any way..PLUS it prevent STD's..and yeah..just use a rubber..
