I am not in favor of illegal immigration. I do feel sympathy for the people that are so poor they come here illegally, but that is because I know it is VERY difficult to come legally when you are poor - which the immigrants usually are. But why doesn't anyone place the blame on the people who hire the illegal immigrants? If the corporations would stop hiring them, there would be no work, and no money, and the people would not come. If you were starving you would do anything for money too, so the only sure way to stop this problem is to crack down on the employers. As long as there are jobs here for illegals, there will be illegals to fill those jobs. Why not stop those doing the hiring, it would tackle the problem and could even raise money in government fines.

i agree the immigrants are wrong, too. but i think the companies are more wrong. it's "need" versus "profit" in most cases (i know not all immigrants come based on need, some of them do come to take advantage.)

actually, when you stop to think about it, we're almost all immigrants here. some have been here longer than others, but most had families come over at some point.

it is understandable why immigrants come to the usa. the life and promise of "the american dream" holds allure not present in their current lifestyle.

as for not hiring them, seems to me this falls squarely on the shoulders of the "not me" solution system. hey you, don't hire illegals. you, don't hire them either. you, too. but ME? well, i need to save some money so i'll do it...but you guys don't. ok?

I agree in part, the best way to stop it is to go after employers in a huge way.An amount that could actually threaten the business is the only thing that would work though,I say $100,000 for everyday a particular illegal immigrant was on the job for any employer who knowingly hires an illegal, with federally mandated social security checks on every prospective employee as law to back that up. If an employer knowingly hires an illegal then you show no mercy $100,000 for every day that employee was on the job with no cap,and if that puts the employer out of business then boo hoo, another honest employer will come in to fill the gap. This crap has to stop and it can't stop soon enough for me.

That is why we want the hr 4437 to pass..to stop the criminals (companys) and the illegals they hire and protect..
The Illegal aliens knows its a crime to be here illegally and they still choose to be here..so its both faults..the illegals and the company's that hire them...not just ones fault..feel sorry for them but do it while they are in their own country send them money..just don't make us use our tax money on them..when my husband goes and pays his child support at the welfare office the illegals are in line buy the 20s and they cant even speak one word of English..next time you see a street sign that needs repaired or a road that is so bad to drive over or your child's school is so ran down because they cant afford a new one..you think of the illegals that are screwing up our economy..that's where our tax's are going..not for what they should be going for.. I report every illegal alien and the company's that hire them..my county is a well know and hated county because my sheriff deports every one that crosses into our county..we own a company so there for we have to go to other county's and work and we have to deal with the illegals that have lowered wages so low it makes it hard to even own a business..the illegals around here know my work vehicles and know to stay away b/c i will report them in a heart beat and other companys that hire them..

I live in Hazleton, PA- we passed a law about illegal immigration that penalizes any employer that hires illegals- it revokes their right of business, putting them out of business. It originally effected the landlords that rent to illegals, but that stopped. we also made it so that all offical papers are to be written in English (the city's official language). It's not that I don't understand their situations, I don't support the fact that we have a lot of unemployed people but the illegals have jobs. Even worse- what bothers me the most- is when they do work, they take home the Net Gross, they don't pay taxes like the rest of us. If they don't have to pay taxes, of course they're gonna come here.

We blame them too. However, in the real world it is easier to prove someone is here illegally than that the employer, who was shown fake documents, knew they were here illegally. We are asking Congress to put employee databases into place to make employment more enforceable. However, the illegal immigrants broke our law by coming in numbers beyond our limits and without our screening. They are to blame as well.

I dont place the blame.... I look at it like this... we cant get a damn 200$ loan without good credit, but IMMIGRANTS can get FREE money just for coming and they end up with half the damn businesses in some states!! They should keep them home and worry about their own people. Especially while we are the middle of war!! I blame the government

Where have you been? Of course we blame those who hire them, but they are both part of the same problem. And not all illegals are here for a job. Many come because they know they can get a free ride from us, or are criminals looking to establish themselves in the drug trade.

BECAUSE they broke the law when they entered the USA without proper documentation. Do you understand that makes them a criminal. Poor, rich, it don't matter.

And the employers should be fined and face possible jail time for hiring illegals.

I blame all enablers - the "supporters", the employers, the ones that assist them with remaining here, the ones that hide them, the ones that sell them all of the fake documentation. . . All of them. And if it were all up to me, anyone assisting/supporting illegal immigration would be found, and then sent out of the country. And they could leave AFTER they paid the Millions of dollars in fines they would have - PER ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT.

With globalisation, the problem is more complicated than depicted. However, not "everyone always blame the immigrants". This statement cannot be true for obvious resons: the words "everyone" and "always". The thruth is that some do and sometimes. For those that do and often, they are thee loosers. Loosers have the habit of blaming anything other than themselves - not worth bothering about!
