I agree with you on a few things. It angers me that someone (of any faith or lack there of) can place so little value on human life. That women who are too incompetent to use birth control properly get pregnant then say oh well and kill their baby. Abortion is not a form of birth control! And as far as the attacking Christians goes... that infuriates me and it has nothing to do with my beliefs... it has to do with the fact that its OK in many peoples eyes including the media to bash Christianity but if anyone bashes other faiths its horrid and racist. This nation was founded partly on the belief in God yet any mention of him is met with protest and snide comments... To all those out there that don't believe... well thats fine and dandy... believe what you want... but don't think its ok to bash my beliefs when I don't bash yours.

Although I'm not Christian, that comment has shocked me about how someone can be so reckless and not care about what they're doing, not only to themselves, but to the embryo inside them. If she didn't want to get pregnant, she should use protection instead of just thinking "oh well, I'll get knocked up and just get an abortion, no big deal" she doesn't realise what sort of danger she's putting herself in. I don't believe that abortions should be used by people who are reckless when it comes to that sort of thing. But, let's say, as an example, that I had a 13 year old daughter who is now pregnant after being raped, I believe that she should be able to choose whether to keep it or not, regardless, being raped would have been traumatic enough, but having to go through a forced pregnancy, I don't know if I would be able to do it.

She has a right to her personal belief.
If she feels religion is stupid; out of respect, that is her right. Just as you feel it is sad people believe in this. But in the mirror, she feels it is sad people believe in religion.
Goes both ways hun.
As far as abortion, her right to choose and have one as the law permits it.
I am not against abortion. I do feel in moral reasons it is wrong. yet, I am pro choice politically because a women has a right over their reproduction. Does that mean I will ever have one? No. Just means I am not going to degrade someone else's right.
However girls like those, it is a good thing abortion is there. I wouldn't want a person to become a parent who has such negativity in life.
The whole "people will adopt" is not true either. If that was true, over 24,000 children in state of California alone would not be in the foster care system waiting for families. Because a very big fraction of those children are born to unwanted since their mother's abortion was not granted. Therefore, they go into the system...which can be bad for some kids experiences. Sadly. Adoption doesn't always end in a happy ending. So, It irritates me when people think it is the best thing, when in reality, it can not be. Don't believe me? Do the research as I have since I work for the Department of School District where I deal with trouble kids in the foster care system as well as school/teaching.
In conclusion, I bet she has been putting that just for the attention.............not true or partial true........but she just wants to get a rise out of people to see what they say. That is a possibility.

Well, to each their own. It's not something I would say, but maybe it was said as a joke, or to get a rise out of people. Either way it was in poor taste and most likely said to piss people off.
As far as insulting Christians, it's no worse than some of the "Christians" on here that insult or belittle people who don't live by the same morals they do. They seem very quick to judge someone based on a paragraph of information. Judge not lest ye be judged. I think some of them forget that.
I don't claim to be an atheist, and I don't claim to be a Christian. I claim to be a human being, who will give advice to others who need it, IF I have something useful to contribute. I keep my opinions about religion, morals, values, actions, etc etc to myself. Well, most of the time anyway. ;D

I'm a non christian I'm still a moral person a mother i believe in life and respect you don't have to be a christian to be a good person that's another topic. My brother use to answer the phone Jerry's abortion clinic you rape em we scrap em. It think those comments are in a sick sense a way to deal with the horror of the situation people joke to make it seem like a smaller issue.

She was most likely going for a shock factor w/ her post (I didn't see the original post that you're referring to) But, honestly, some people are just idiots. She'll screw up one day and get one too many abortions and make it where she can never have kids (which would be best for her kids and mankind). Abortion is murder, no matter how many excuses and justification pro-abortionists try to provide. Just remember- she'll answer for her actions and statements one day. She'll regret it- whether she'll admit it now or not.

Whoever wrote that comment sounded really young and not very smart. Abortion should not be a quick fix to a sexual addition.
I don't have any kids but I'm 28 and married and the lack of respect given in that comment is mind blowing.

I am a true believer in the right to choose however the comment is way out of line and I hope for the girls sake she seeks help for forms of birth control. I think it is appalling that that would be voted the best answer what is wrong with people.

Sounds to me that she's pretty angry with the world & life... and probably can't stand herself. She's probably always pissed off at herself, someone, or something... and wants company. What goes around... comes around. Some people are just plain sick & morbid. It would be one thing to go through with it... it's quite another to verbalize it the way she's doing it.
I hate to make this comment myself... but maybe the next time she's at the Chop Shop... they'll chop off something by mistake and she won't have the chance to do this again.

I have a feeling that the person who posted this was most likely someone who was just trying to get a reaction. In all my years - I've never heard of a clinic that offers abortions called that. I've talked to many 'pro-life' and 'pro-choice' advocates -- that's not common terminology.
My guess would be that a pro-life male wrote that.
Maybe I'm wrong... that's just my guess.
