The Biblical issues are the homosexual act, the lust, the multiple partners, the sex without lifelong commitment, and the body as a temple. The issue is not someone's orientation whether acquired or congenital. We all are imperfect and have crosses to bear. It is in self-denial, and sacrifice, as well as care for the needy that we witness to others.

I'm sure all of the disputed verses will be shown by others. If not they can easily be found through Google. What you will not find in the New Testament is people being condemned for the way they were born, or for the sins and attitudes they developed before they were saved. The Holy Spirit will lead the justified to observe the restrictions, advice, and commands found in the New Testament because of love and gratitude, not because they are forced to by God or by a congregation.

Romans 1:24
Wherefore God also gave
them up to uncleanliness
through the lusts of their
own hearts, to dishonor their
own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God
into a lie, and worshiped and
served the creature more than
the Creator, who is blessed
forever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them
up unto vile affections: for even their
women did change the natural use
into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men,
leaving the natural use of the
woman, burned in their lust one
toward another; men with men
working that which is unseemly,
and receiving in themselves that
recompensed their error which
was meet.

Leviticus 18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind,
as with womankind, it is an
abomination.

Ephesians 5:11-12
11 And have no fellowship with
the unfruitful works of darkness,
but Rather reprove them,
12 For it is a shame even to
speak of those things which are
done of them in secret.

In the Bible whenever it talks of sex, it doesn't use the word sex, in stead it uses the term 'to know" or 'be fruitful' so in verse 11 above it talks of the "unfruitful" it is talking about gay-sex because in gay sex you cannot "be fruitful and multiply"

some historians say that the pasages in the bible about "men lying with men" are about men raping their boy slaves... which is definately wrong! but that is not what goes on in a gay relationship.

there is a part in the bible where david takes off all of his clothes and sword and hands them to jonathan... which wasn't typical of those people at that time unless they had a special relationship. i think the bible understands same sex romance and has nothing to say against it... however, same sex lust and rape are definately bad.

In the original language it doesn't, but in all of the new translations/revisions (English, Hebrew, and other languages) of the bible sexual offenders (male prostitutes) has been translated to homosexual. I think this translation is wrong. Just because being a male-male prostitute is wrong doesn't mean homosexuality is wrong. In the same way female-male prostitution is wrong but that doesn't mean heterosexuality is wrong. Soo, yes some of the English translations say homosexuality is wrong, but this is due to faulty/bigoted/ misunderstandings in translation.

The first thing wrong with your question is that you are assuming there is something about the Bible that makes it an authority on right and wrong.
Right and Wrong are determined by how our species manages to survive in the LONG term, not just until the religious conquests are run through.
The real question should be, "Can homosexuality somehow contribute to the long term survival of the species, or is it a symptom that there is something going wrong with our relationship with nature and each other?"

yes, read Romans 1:24,26-28,32,1 Corinthians 6:9,10,2 Peter 2:4-10,Jude 6-8,Genesis 19:4,5,13,24,Judges 19:22,23.
The world tells us that homosexuality is "okay," that it is just "an alternative lifestyle," that some people are "born that way" and must practice homosexuality to be "true to themselves." God, in the Bible, tells us that His view of homosexuality is quite different. Homosexuality is a sin, and like all sins will separate one from God.

It never says BEING gay is wrong. It does condemn the act of homosexuality on Lev 20:13 though.

But remeberest thou, God is love, not hate. Have no hatred for thy fellow man.

1) Genesis 19:1-13
2) Leviticus 18:22
3) Romans 1:26-27
4) 1 Corinthians 6:9

1)
1 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. 2 "My lords," he said, "please turn aside to your servant's house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning."
"No," they answered, "we will spend the night in the square."

3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."

6 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him 7 and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing. 8 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don't do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof."

9 "Get out of our way," they replied. And they said, "This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the judge! We'll treat you worse than them." They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.

10 But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door. 11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.

12 The two men said to Lot, "Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, 13 because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the LORD against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it."

2)
22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

3)
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

4)
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

Hope it helps ya!

I don't have the Bible with me right now, but I don't remember what chapter it said, but it said any unnatural sex is considered to be a sin. It's not what God intended.
