He met me shortly after her and we are friends but said that he and her just seemed to click when they met. He is building a relationship with her but sees me too. I didn't know at first and he wasn't very involved with her so he didn't know if it would work out but he had hopes.She is divorced. I am a widow and he a widower. However we were lonely and were intimate. He has gotten more involved with her and he and I are friends but I think more of him than a friend and keep hopeing he will come my way.He keeps wanting to keep me as a friend. We are no longer intimate although I would like to be and I think he would too but doesn't want me to feel used although we have a lot of passion. He is a good honest man.She evidently has qualities that matter to him, more so than I ,but I think he needs to get to know her better and me too.He has not made a committment but she is only seeing him and he her, except for me.They are intimate.She knows he has me as a friend..nothing else. help

I would bring someone else around and see how he reacts- but if its obvious that it doesnt bother him then I would leave him alone. (as far as being intimate goes) He aparently knows that you are interested, right? If you've slept together and all that, he must. So he's probably not interested in you for much more than that if he is into someone else. He's got the best of both worlds the way it is right now. Find someone who's into you and only you. Why stress yourself out?

you say he is a good man well have you told him how you feel about him before she even came in the picture and he wants to keep you as a friend try this have you meet her and if not invite her over and ask her do she have any male friends that might want a good woman or ask him cause he may have some nice friends to since he doesn't want to use you then you will know how good he is good luck

Judging by how detailed you told the storyyyyy, it's obvious that you need get a life and stop this endless babble about who is doing this and that to whom and what you think of his or her life should be. I highly recommend a book by Dr. Laura: ten stupid mistakes women make(or something like that) and you will see how you are just wasting your life with this "friend"

It sounds like you're just lonely. There are other men out there. It seems like he's more interested in the other female. Just let it be and wait for someone else.

if he has you as a friend, the that may be as deep as your relationship may go. you two obviously needed each oter during a certain time in your lives, but he has moved on. it may be time to open yourself up to someone new. it does not mean that you stop caring for this male friend, but don't be afraid to branch out.
