No.
God is Spirit. He is neither male nor female.
It is true that the Bible refers to Him as "Him" or our "Father."
Just as with Adam. God created Adam in His image. Not that "male" physical image but in His image.
When God created Eve, He caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep. He took a rib (Hebrew meaning: the other side) and created woman. We, man and woman were one when first created. Then God split us up. Take the man, warrior, strong physical side, provider and protector...and then woman...soft, gentle, weepy and able to carry babies. LOL
We are all one in Christ Jesus (male nor female).

Is God a Woman?
In my understanding, God is neither a man nor a woman. The Bible says, "God is a Spirit."
The Bible says "he" because that was the understanding of the biblical times. Before that, during the stone age, God was comprehended as "she," the Mother Goddess, the creator.
With the keeping of herds, around 15,000 BC, the male role in creating offspring came to people's awareness, and the Mother Goddess got a son. Only later, after the Divine Son came God Father around 10,000 BC. These are historic facts, well documented in the works of Professor Dr. Herman Wirth Roeper Bosch.
In my understanding, God cannot be seen and no image would encompass God. For God is beyond all creation, the uncreated Creator, yet, in all creation.
Good Question!
Blessings.

The Soruce of Life is COMPLETE. It's not until the Lifeforce
leaves the Source, that it breaks down into what we understand
as the masculine and feminine.
These are really nuetral forces. The just exist. One flowing from
the Source, and the other back.Tthey meet at different levels to
create life.
Our spirits are composed of both of these aspects of the
Lifeforce. Once in a particular reality, there is a polarizing effect.
A magnetic pulling effect, that makes one become more
masculine or feminine.
Christ is about unity. Evil, division. And evil uses everything
it can to create division and unhappiness between men and
women. But once one overcomes selfish desires. They can easily see that humans are very much individuals. There are
masculine women, and feminine men. It's more a matter of
personality, and general nature, which is also governed by
spiritual forces, than whether one is male or female.
Sprituality is about understanding these lower aspects of
spiritual things, (forces). And using ones personal spiritual power
to rise above such pettiness. By knowing we have to struggle
with it ourselves.

I think God is above sexuality. Since God created sexuality, God's nature probably encompasses both. Scriptures have historically used the masculine pronoun when referring to God, but they were also written primarily by men. People tend to make God look like themselves - look at any painting of Jesus and you'll see a piece of the artist's culture.

I'm a Christian and I think God is both. It says male and female he created in his own image. Now when God came down to Earth he did come in masculine form, but I just think that was due to the fact that the social climate of that region in that time, would never have listened to a woman, their testimony was not even admissable in court. I think God is above distinctions such as gender.

No I don't think god is man or woman. Mankind (both man and woman) were supposedly created in god's image. Whether that's physical or spiritual I have no idea. But god has the qualities of both sexes so I guess if we ever get the chance to see god we'll find out then.

Wow that's a tough one! If God has any gender, than it would be as in scripture "He" meaning man. that does not necessarily have to translate to the male gender, that I believe is still an assumption. However, for discussion purposes, God being a woman would explain alot of things. Hurricanes, Volcanoes, Sunami's, etc. etc.

I think that the ancient religions were closer to reality when they worshipped the Mother as the giver of life.
Most of our modern religions are descendents of male-dominated power structures, not related to the origins of Life, but designed to conquer the environment and people they encountered. Remember that most of these paternalistic organizations and ideas have only been around for a few thousand years. The ancient peoples survived with their ideas of the Earth and cooperating with nature for tens of thousands of years.

god is not male nor female, god is not limited to such trivial small insignificant useless, expressions of a thing such as the SEX? of a little ole human.relative to the whole of it all, sex is nothing, god is at a much higher plane of existance, beyond ALL human understanding, if we were to stand in front of god we would burn to a cinder, it will be trillions of years times trillions of years before we could even start to grasp the significance of what god truly is, it begins with excepting gods spirit into you life, from there. it is all up hill, but you MUST make a begining, please do it now,
