chirst spoke this to the people in jerusalem and he meant that there were other people on the earth that believed in him and that they were somewhere else. in my religion we believe he was talking about the people that were the ancestors of the current native americans.

Jesus was talking to the Jews for 3 1/2 yrs.toward the end of His ministry He said "I have other sheep which are not of this flock "(meaning the Jewish flock)He meant the rest of the world. That's why Peter and especially Paul were the "Apostles to the Gentiles"(non-Jews).The rest of the Apostles except James (John's brother) and James (Jesus' 1/2 brother) went throughout the known world preaching and claiming the resurrected Christ right up to their martyrdom.
He was not talking about Mormons.

That's not quite what Jesus says. He says "I have other sheep that are not of this flock."
I believe that means that his care extends beyond any community or church to all people.

All are welcome to see him in all his glory; he is the son of God, our Lord, savior. He sees no difference in man save what man does for his bretheren. He seeks no audience with man, only the Father, God in Heaven. This means that even the horriblest of horriblest can be forgiven and join his flock from wherever or whatever.
