My name is Monica I am an alcoholic in recovery and my sobriety date is 06/04/2006. Every day I wake up and am amazed by this miracle of sobriety. I would love to find email friends in recovery. I have a great AA support system here but I work from home so spend countless hours behind this computer screen and I know I cannot be the only one. good for you hun. i had a heavy drinking problem to cover up anxiety and bipolar an had a nervous breakdown. 4 months ago i decided to treat this with medicine and i have felt a lot better.

Yes Monica I am in AA but I am going to have to find another as this group is small (20) and all smoke. I cannot take it. Rody.
I would be glad to talk with you. See I am in trouble this moment as I am drinking a beer. I quit for five years and this lady was introduced to me by my daughter and she came over with a bottle of "Rum". Yes, I had two drinks and that did it. I have to start all over. Like they say it only takes one drink.

Congratulations. You're still in a somewhat fragile part of your recovery, so don't get too jazzed, just yet. Stick with your support system, it's vital.
