Will the terrorists all surrender? Will they be dead ? Will there be a VT day? Will we militarily occupy Terrorlandia and try its leaders?
Will all the threats go away? How will we know it when the war is over?

It will never end. Every oppressive government needs an enemy of the state. Bush uses the threat of terrorism the same way the eternal war was used in Orwell's 1984 - to keep the populace off balance, confused, and malleable.
The "threat" comes from an enemy that has no sovereign power and has no central organization. The idea there is a "threat" is used to justify the wholesale revocation of civil liberties, the abrogation of due process, spying on dissenters, and the implementation of a quasi-police state with secret trials and military tribunals.

It is impossible to wage or win a war on an emotion. It is especially ridiculous to beleive that the way to do so is to terrorize innocent civilians!
It IS possible to not piss everyone off, and if people aren't pissed at you, they don't blow themselves up at you. Duh.
The "terrorists" in the Arabic and Persian nations are upset about certain things....and no, it's not our freedom, you morons! They are mad that we put military bases on their holy lands. They are mad that we put sanctions on entire countries that only harm the poor, not the dictators running the place. They are mad because every democracy that they try to set up, we have destroyed. They are mad that we bomb them constantly. They are mad that we support Israel whenever the seize and occupy more and more land (and no, they are not made at the Jewish people...they are mad at the neo-con fascist, imperialist right wing government of the country). They are mad that we constantly start fights between them and support both sides. They are mad that we foment anti-arabic and anti-islamic sentiment. They are mad that we are torturing them, and then trying to say it's ok to do so. They are mad that we are detaining 90% innocent civilians in Gitmo, and have announced plans to torture "confessions" out of the ones that we have no evidence of any wrongdoing for.
Since they are poor, they have to resort to guerilla warfare (they can't afford bombers). It's not the right thing, but most people would do the same in their position.
Terrorism will never end while we humiliate, torture, starve, and kill innocent people. Only when we stop f**king with them will all of this stop. We've (the West...Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the US, etc) been doing it for over 1200 years, and they are getting sick of it!

We will be fighting this war for decades they hate us and want
us all dead there is no reasoning with them the Terrorists and
their leaders by proxy who fund them and give them military training and full support they are uncivilized savages.
Blowing up civilian airliners with liquid explosives?! killing 3000
people at the World Trade Center planning chemical, biological
and even nuclear and dirty bomb attacks against us?!
Uncivilized is attacking with truck bombs like the Terrorists
caught near Toronto planned on doing they were going to open
up on the crowds of innocent people running away with automatic weapon fire :(

Terrorism started well over 2000 years ago and will not end before the end of the human species. The war will never be won because the war refuses to recognize that the other guy has a legitimate complaint. What about the terrorism of the 1770's?

When the media and world opinion condemn terrorism, right now it's a propaganda war and starting to tilt against them. Otherwise, it will not soon end unless the terrorists give it up as a winless cause or the world is dominated by them.

Winning it? You can't win it. Terrorism is a tactic, islamic fascists are the enemy. When the fascists are gone and people mellow out then the war on Islamic Fascists is over. Some other wacko group will then start up with terrorist tactics.
And if the liberals have their way, we won't win. We'll just walk away and hope that they won't hurt us.

The biggest terrorists in the world are CIA/MI6/Mossad/ISI, having been responsible for 9/11,7/7, Bali bombing, Madrid train bombibg, etec. etc.
