Well ive heard of some people's relationship's where they only go out because they feel sorry for that person and it is hard to tell them that they dont like them. It's really sad,Because alot of my friend's are like that when in a time they are ready to tell there bf they dont like them,But how there bf love's and care's alot about them.Is there any way to tell them if theyve been with them for a very long time. But without the heartbreaking?Cause it is pretty frustrating and hard for a situation i dont even know the proper advice for them.

Not being honest about your feelings and allowing another to be misled is just like lying to them.

We often don't wish to hurt another's feelings out of concern or freindship but you will both be more comfortable if you can say how you honestly feel.

What most people need is simply a 'nice' way to convey they do not return feeling to another in 'that way' when approached.

In the first phase it is appropriate to simply say your flattered and you admire there bravery in revealing the feelings and while you respect them you simply do not feel any chemistry spark of 'true love'. Admitting you are waiting for a 'spark' of true love allows the person to graciously accept you don't return feelings for them without judging them at all since 'chemistry' is something that we all expect to just happen.

If you are in a relationship then you need to tell the person your with that while you deeply care and love them but you realize they just are not the one you see yourself with as a 'true love or soulmate'. We can love many people in many different ways but it isn't always the type of love that we wish for to see us into marriage and old age.

I did that once, years ago. It is a really bad idea....
END IT! Try to be as kind as possible about it, but be firm. Little white lies here may soften the blow-- "I care about you, but I'm not ready for a relationship" ...
