poor guy, you are too nice. Of course you can ask more about this person if you and your girl are really serious dating. my question is: why would she want to go to homecoming with another person? if you two are not that serious yet, I advice you(and I know this is the hard one) to find a girl who live in the same town as you(or at least less than 50miles from you).. Long distance relationship not only is almost impossible to maintain, it doesn't give you the time and space to know the other person on a day to day basis. and many times it keeps you from the truth about the person and gives you a big and unpleasant surprise when you already invested much emotion in it. Good luck, Kid.
I AM SUSPECTING THAT THERE'S A LITTLE IDIOT WHO'S RATING DOWN ALL THE RESONABLE AND KIND ANSWERS, STOP NOW.

Kiddo, you are really too young to be in a long-distance relationship. It just causes angst for no good reason. Find a nice girl to go out with, who lives near you. IF you are still interested in Miss NM later, maybe you two can go to the same college...

It would look like you didn't care if you didn't. Ask, just don't be a jerk about it...tell her you really wish it was YOU who was there to go with her instead of this lucky guy. Ask her point blank if she really likes this guy, or if it's just for fun & to have someone to go to her dance with & if she says it's just for fun...tell her you trust her, and hope she has a great time, but not too great, if you know what I mean ;op

Your question is a little vague. I take it you two are a couple and that's why your asking the question. if this is so then no you are entitled to ask his name and other things about him, the key is how you ask. if you come across as jealous, paranoid and angry your going to find yourself in deep waters. try to keep calm, ask a few questions and say you are concerned that she is not out with someone she cant trust. make sure she knows you trust her, and you are just concerned for her well being. that way you are likely to get way more information than you asked for.

I guess ya'll are a couple? If she's your girlfriend, why is she going to home coming with another guy. Long distance relationships are very hard and almost impossible for teens. You have a right to know some things but don't take your relationship with her too seriously, you should be going out with girls too.

no, why would you be afraid to make friends with another guy through a girl. There is nothing wrong with anything, so just go ahead and ask the girl about that guy!

Hello? Dude, she's your girlfriend! You have every right to know about another guys she's going out with.
Long distance relationships just do not work out. You need to be looking for someone else.

Tell her up front that your jealous that you don't get to go because your so far away. Then ask general questions but make sure not to sound distrusting.
