I was in a long distance relationship and i was planning to move out to where she lived because i really loved her. Sure...i'm insecure and before i was moving out there i got really mad because this guy was flirting with her and she returned the flirtation right in front of me...and she said she didn't even notice that he was flirting (this guy was a very good looking guy by the way and he had his shirt off and looked like 2 guys she dated )..she said that she was just being nice (are there some girls that don't know they are being flirted with?). so befor i moved out there, she told me that she didn't know if she loved me enough to move over to my state for me...so very long story short i told her that if she didn't love me enough to move to california for me then why would i move out there? So we broke up...was i right in telling her that or should i have just understood that i was short changed in the Love department...this sucks!! i hate life right now! girls, help me out

You did the right thing. It seems she wasn't serious about you so it would have been a big mistake to change your entire life because of her. Long distance relationships can work out, but it's a big IF.

wow, sounds like your a great guy who just ended up with a girl who still wants to have fun with more than one guy. You did the right thing, when you with a girl she shouldnt be flirting with another man, and if she "didnt notice" he was well when you told her that he was she should of believed you and said that shes going to remain friends but there wont be any more flirting. She needed to prove to you her love. And well i guess she did, it just wasnt enough love she had. I know life sucks when you end up with the girl you thought was perfect ended up not so perfect. You will get through it, you did the right thing, you can move on and you will find much better someone who understands you and will love that you are one of the GOOD GUYS!!!

Ok, if your going to break up make sure it was for the right reason. Sounds like if she doesn't love you enough then it's not worth the risk. But just because she is nice to someone is not a good reason.
Is it possible you reacted in a jealous way simply because you know this relationship isn't good for you and you were just looking for a way out?
Long distant relationships are never easy. Two people need time together to really learn about one another.

I think you did the right thing. You loved the girl more than she loved you. Also I think most girls know when a guy is flirting with them. She was wrong flirting back with him, especially since you were right there. Not moving to her state the best thing and even though you two broke up, it was for the better.

Long distance relationships are definately tough. It sounds like you are the jealous type, especially with thinking that this flirty big shot, looked like 2 other guys shes dated.Forget the other guys she's dated. She wouldn't be in a relationship with you, if she didn't love you, or at least wanted to be with you. Some girls can be pretty dumb when guys flirt with them, and visa versa. I wouldn't hold this situation against her.But it sounds like its too late. You moving or her moving however sucks. I'm sure she loved you, but maybe she was just scaird, and this was a chance to prove that you could move away from your home, and eventually she would be willing to move away from hers?

yes u did! Her flirting with someone else was totally wrong to do! U loved her and she should have taken that to heart! She wasn't showing u any respect and it showed that she didn't love u very much either.... so yes, u were right to tell her.... even though it may hurt for a while, u loved her and would have done something so sweet for her she should have appreciated it! well, although thats a perfectly normal resopnse you probably should have taken a deep breather adn thought about what you were going to say and the consequences on the relationship. oh well, hindsight is 20/20. seems like if she said she didnt love you that much, then you were going to end up getting hurt at some point, at least it was before you spent money on a house. sorry bud:-(
