If I am taking jet fuel diet pills and birth control. I know that sometimes medical prescriptions will make birth control ineffective. Do diet pills have that same effect?

I am not fat. I just want to tone-up. I talked to the owner of the health store and he said that diet pills are not dangerous if you take them rigth. I asked a personal trainer and he told me they will help with your work out and are good if you want to loose weight. I do work out and I do eat healthy. Just have a pooch that hangs over my jeans when I sit down and I want to loose that and about 15 lbs.

Yes, those over-the-counter diet pills will make your birth control less effective. The birth control also increases your risk of stroke, and so do the diet pills, so keep in mind that you might die from taking both.
Diet pills will not help you tone anything. Only a workout will do that. Please only put 1/2 stock into what the man at the health store said. He is a salesperson, after all, and wants you to buy the product.

Ask your pharmacist, or the person that sells the jet fuel. If you ask your doctor, he will tell you that what you are takin is dangerous and you should be excersising and watching what you eat. Diet pills don't work,
