my new workmate has a **stammer/stutter**, does anyone here have one and could you tell me about it?

i used to date a man with a stutter and believe it or not he was a lead singer in a rock and roll band, he could sing perfectly and not stutter at all.. you will get used to it and don't make any comments and he will relax, my boyfriend was worse under any type of stress

I have an occasional stammer which tends to rear itself more often when I am on the telephone. When apologising to a boss for my stammering one day, he told me not to knock it, as it meant my brain was working faster than my tongue and that it was a rare quality in a woman!

My stammering was much worse as a child and young adult. I have been told that left-handed people are more prone to stuttering but I don't know if there is any truth in that. Although I am left-handed.

I just put stammering into a Yahoo seach and there are a lot of sites that may be of help but I did work with someone who could and just waited until they were able to express themselves

i have a stutter at times ...and my friends and family accept it... i tend to do it more im nervous but its now just a part of me now....it can get a bit annoying when i try and say a word and go on and on but that's the way I'm am.....its just a case of being patient and what ever you do try not to finish our sentence for us that's piss take....wait until we are done and wait until we stop talking to xxx thanks for your question xxx we are not deranged just the repetitive type xx

i dont have one but watched a prgramme about it once and they said stammas/ stutters are'nt disabilities they are a habit. if your talking to him then try to look past the stutter and if its really bad dont try to finish sentances if they are struggling.
