Anyways, judging by my friend, do you think the Truth burns his ears? why does he so much Hate to hear anything about God anymore?

When I was young, I heard I was going to hell for this, and going to hell fot that! And I got an A.T., (attitude), that if I was going
to hell, I was going for a reason. And I wasted 30 years of my life
drinking and drugging.
Too many people try to threaten people into doing right, and
it blows our minds. Especially when we get to the age we have to
deal with realities like our sex "drive''.
The Book says to approach people in a manner of meekness.
Using understanding and kindness, and sitting down and talking to others, and try to reason with them. Explain why things will
hurt them, not just because "I", or "The Bible" says so!

How do you respond when you here an atheist flaming stuff about religious groups are just money scams or science proves evolution and disproves God? When your opinions differ they say oh well the truth hurts. Actually when I first read your question I was expecting to hear from an atheist saying Christians get mad when you talk because deep down they know its the truth and they can't deal with it. Atheists are always saying that. So truth is a matter of perception. Sometimes I hear relgious stuff I think is interesting but sometimes it is just plain silly. If you are very devout you may feel a little sacrilidgous listening to the stuff if in your mind you are just laughing at the guy. As for your friend I suspect you may not be friends much longer. He probably gets the impression you don't respect his choice or beliefs.

pfft. none of this makes your faith genuine. loss of solutions shows a run of the mill non correct question, not loss of an articulate answer. no person incredibly cares, yet considering the fact which you went there... court docket records instruct ct russell to be a fraudster. whilst asked to % out some hebrew characters, he could not, even tho he before claimed he ought to. his spouse additionally mentioned he grow to be pedo. there have been 9 new child intercourse abuse situations settled secretly in 2007 by potential of the watchtower. i'm not even american, yet whilst i think of of loose speech there, i think of founding fathers, in all risk washington, and individuals like martin luthor king and malcolm x, keen to place their lives on the line for others. you contemporary the watchtower pursuing their very own pastimes. hitler would have replaced that 1st modification undertaking. did the jws bypass to resign him? or have been you all working around asserting the sky is falling and a wolf attacked the sheep. yet now the youngsters of people who did arise and warranted your 1st modification rights, you attempt to instruct into cripples too. shameful persecution? are you attempting to declare a monopoly on persecution? you recognize over one hundred 000 "actual" christians have been martyred interior the 1st 2 centuries after jesus? not plenty room left for a widespread anointed classification. nyway, already given too plenty time to this one.

You know sometimes people are angry at God. I personally am not, I just don't believe in him. I don't think it "burns" his ears, he just doesn't want to hear something that let him down. For instance, say you broke up with someone, how would you feel every time you heard their name or saw them? Would it hurt? Its the same way. I'm not judging your religion on its validity, I'm just saying your religion may have let your friend down. Maybe one day he might rejoin your religion, maybe not, but that's up to him and it isn't "Satan leading him away" or anything like that, hes just a little angry.

Oh yes, absolutely kiddo, that's why people want channels or stations to be changed... because they just HATE the truth. That's why when the Telletubbies come on TV I have to change the channel really quick... because the truth of the Tubbies is just too much for me to take! It has NOTHING to do with the fact that I find it irritating, just irritating, and not "too truthful".

Maybe your friend's ears are burning from deceit?
Unless you know, for certain, 100%, that you are right and he is wrong.
Which I'm guessing you believe.

Well since you probably react like it burns YOUR ears to hear someone else's TRUTH and have them telling you the real TRUTH and convinced that what THEY believe in the real TRUTH...guess the thought goes both ways.

Might you entertain the possibility that those of us who chose not to be xtian are so inundated with it in this country we are truly sick to death of it. It is your truth, not mine. It doesn't burn my ears...it turns my stomach. Maybe your friend was hurt by the church or another xtian, maybe he found some truth of his own that doesn't include your beliefs. Give him some space and respect his choices if you want to keep your friendship. Walk your talk.

i agree. some people just don't want to listent to the truth about Jesus Christ and Christianity because it exposes there "sinful nature", none of us want to admit that we do sinful things, we just want to do "what feels good", but when someone (preacher, etc) talks about the word of god, people dont' want to feel guilty so they remove the preaching, etc. I'll pray for both of you. peace.
